To The Rescue! Finds its Forever Home on Nintendo Switch!
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Feb. 25, 2021 – To The Rescue!, the heartfelt dog shelter management simulator from developer Little Rock Games and publisher Freedom Games, adopts an Autumn 2021 release window for Nintendo Switch alongside Steam on Windows PC and Mac.
Build a shelter and help stray pups find good new homes with loving families. Construct an ideal environment to meet the needs of man’s best friend and maximize their chances to be adopted. Caring for dozens of doggos is rewarding, but the mission has its share of challenges as well.
Every pooch has their own personality. It’s important to get to know each dog and find out what makes them unique. People have their preferences too, so learning what they’re looking for in a pupper is critical when making matches that will last a lifetime.
Between visits from potential pet parents, there’s never a dull moment. Shelters have plenty of mouths to feed and treating illnesses like kennel cough is always a concern. Then there’s logistics to worry about. It takes no shortage of supplies to keep the operation up and running.
Meanwhile, someone has to manage the finances and make sure to keep the lights on. Shelters need to be thrifty and make hard decisions. Hiring staff and dealing with investors is as much a part of the job as scritching Rex behind the ears and giving Fido belly rubs. There can be tough times, but at the end of the day helping dogs find their forever homes is always worth it.
“The challenges dog shelters and their volunteers face every day truly inspire us,” said Olivia Dunlap, co-founder, Little Rock Games. “It’s a setting we felt was ripe for exploration in games and we look forward to bringing this world to Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year.”
To The Rescue! will be available in late 2021 for Nintendo Switch as well as Steam on PC and Mac for $19.99. The development team pledges 20 percent of profits to pet shelters.

A Musical Story Begins This Summer on Nintendo Switch!
9 March, 2021 – Indie publisher Digerati and developer Glee-Cheese Studio are delighted to announce A Musical Story for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and iOS. The game is scheduled to launch this summer.
A music/narrative experience set in the 1970s, A Musical Story is part rhythm game, part interactive art, and uses the connection between music and memory as a central theme. There’s no text or dialogue – the entire story is told through the game’s original music (influenced by bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Air) and distinct animated art style.
Starting work on the project in 2017, the four-man team at French developer Glee-Cheese Studio experimented with many different prototypes, each one exploring various story concepts, and musical and visual styles, before settling on a final vision for A Musical Story they felt would set it apart from other music/rhythm games.
“We wanted to make something different, something that would stick in the minds of players, both for its gameplay and story. It took a huge amount of time to find the right formula, but this one was the most inspiring,” says Charles Bardin, the game’s designer and co-composer.
“In most musical games, there’s a visual timeline, showing exactly when to play the notes. We’ve focused instead on creating an experience that relies on the listening skills of the player, so they must feel the music, understand it, to progress and unveil the story.”
About the game
A Musical Story is a rhythm game set against a 70s backdrop. Explore the memories of Gabriel, a young man trying to come to terms with his situation through the connections to his musical memory. Each correctly played melody opens a new chapter into Gabriel’s past, bringing him closer to the truth.
Key features
- Rekindle Gabriel’s memories with rhythmic button presses in time with the music
- Storytelling without words – discover Gabriel’s journey through music and visuals alone
- Gabriel’s story comes to life through a beautifully crafted art style created by Alexandre Rey
- A unique original soundtrack featuring 26 songs, composed and performed by Charles Bardin and Valentin Ducloux
- Play every song perfectly to unlock a hidden chapter

Surreal RPG Adventure Everhood Warps onto Nintendo Switch Today!
STOCKHOLM – March 4, 2021 – Everhood, the unconventional RPG adventure from Foreign Gnomes where nothing is as it seems, explores the boundaries of existence and rocks out to musical battles on Nintendo Switch and Steam for Windows PC today.
Welcome to Everhood, a bizarre realm located on the edges of space and time. Its inhabitants are a peculiar lot. These otherworldly entities spend their days wandering labyrinthine castles. Clubbing and board games are popular pastimes here, as well. That is, until a gnome steals an arm from Red, the wooden doll. A seemingly simple quest to reclaim it begins to pull at the fraying threads of this strange world, unraveling a mystery and reality in the process.
Go on a trip through the doors of perception. Explore fantastical environments in the hunt for the pinched limb. Play hide and seek with animate mushrooms in the forest, win carnival prizes, and race go-karts against colorful characters like mages, sentient save points, robots, and vampires. Learn about Red’s past and come ever-closer to finding the Absolute Truths of the universe.
But knowledge often comes at a cost. Some of Everhood’s eclectic residents aren’t content to let Red roam the realm freely. Face off against challengers ranging from multi-legged monsters to brothers who run a plank-selling business and the fearsome Gold Pig in musical battles. Avoid incoming attacks by moving, grooving, and leaping out of harm’s way while jamming out to bespoke battle themes as varied as the inhabitants of this curious community.
Red’s journey is teeming with secrets and world-alerting revelations. As Everhood’s true nature begins to appear, adventurers will make decisions that impact Red’s role in the fate of everyone – and everything – the doll encounters. Experience a twisting story and overcome dance-based trials across five difficulty modes, a range of accessibility options, and an unlockable New Game Plus feature that calls into question everything that’s come before it.
“Everhood began as a side project between my co-developer Jordi Roca and me,” said Chris Nordgren, co-founder, Foreign Gnomes. “Since then, it’s evolved into the strange, vibrant, and mysterious game that we are so proud to share with everyone on Nintendo Switch and Steam today. Sign the contact, sell your soul, and join us in Everhood!”
Everhood is now available on Nintendo Switch for $14.99 and Steam for $9.99. It features English, French, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and Japanese language options. The PC version launches with beta mod support in the form of a fully-featured custom battle editor. Additional updates will be available following launch.

Gnosia Launches March 4th on Nintendo Switch!
TOKYO – February 25, 2021 – After receiving spectacular reviews in Japan, Gnosia, the critically acclaimed sci-fi social deduction RPG from developer Petit Depotto and publisher PLAYISM, is sneaking its way into the West on Nintendo Switch, launching on March 4. Pre-orders for this visual novel adventure start on February 25 on the Nintendo eShop, available in North America, Europe and Australia.
Gnosia is a thrilling and unique single-player social deduction game combined with visual novel, RPG, and mystery elements. Set on a drifting spaceship, the player faces a mysterious and deadly threat known as the “Gnosia”. Each night on the spaceship someone is put into a cold sleep in an effort to eliminate the Gnosia. The real Gnosia changes in every playthrough, and as an exciting twist, sometimes the player will find themselves cast as the Gnosia.
Key Features:
- Repeatedly play through loops of up to 15 minutes long, triggering special events to unravel plot mysteries in its particularly galactic narrative
- Engage with interesting and eclectic characters with unique personalities, experience randomly triggered events that are unique to each person and develop strong relationships
- Players can customize their game to add up to 14 additional characters to make the game more intense
- Beautiful and unique art style, featuring 2D illustrations of anime-type characters
“We are so excited to get to collaborate with Petit Depotto to bring this long-awaited English adaptation of Gnosia to Switch,” explains Shunji Mizutani, Executive Producer at Playism. “The reviews the game received were overwhelmingly positive in Japan, and we can’t wait for players in the West to experience the thrill of finding – or failing to find – the Gnosia.”
Originally released in June 2019 for the PS Vita, Gnosia was initially available only in Japan. On March 4, 2021, Gnosia will be made available as a digital download from the Nintendo Switch eShop in North America, Europe and Australia for $24.99USD. Pre-orders start on February 25, 2021.
