First-person puzzler, SUPERLIMINAL, is Coming to Nintendo Switch on July 7th!

Seattle, Washington – June 25th, 2020 — Developer Pillow Castle Games is excited to announce that their forced perspective puzzle game, SUPERLIMINAL, is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and Switch on July 7th, 2020. Everything is the opposite of what you think it is? That’s not correct either. This is a game about breaking expectations and thinking outside the box. What you see is what you get. Literally.

If you’re ready to join Dr. Glenn Pierce’s “SomnaSculpt Dream Therapy” program, you can do so for only $19.99 USD! Most regions can pre-order it for the Switch on the Nintendo eShop now, and Europe pre-orders begin on June 30th.

Multiplayer party brawler Gerrrms infects the eShop on July 23rd!

Poland – June 25th, 2020 – Poland-based Indie developer Bugbomb Games is happy to announce that it’s single-celled party brawler, Gerrrms, is launching on Nintendo Switch via the eShop on 23rd July for £8.99 / €9.99 / $9.99. Gerrrms invites you and your friends to engage in microscopic brawls of epic proportions!

Gerrrms is a multiplayer party brawler where players take control of minute germs as they fight for dominance within the human body. Choose from 12 quirky germy candidates and start swinging from hooks inside a corporeal arena to move around as you engage in microbial warfare, competing in seven gutsy game modes, either in single-player or local multiplayer up to 4 players. Naturally, you’ll come in contact with rival germs so it’s important to stand your ground. Practice your sick single-celled moves and utilise power-ups: dropping dirty mines, packing a punch,  launching microscopic missiles, getting gooey to slow your opponents down, exploding in size to push your rivals into surrounding hazards, making lightning-fast dashes or tactically using a pseudopod to instantly switch items with someone else – be it a flag or a bomb.

Gerrrms offers seven game modes including: Deathmatch – Swing your germ around and eliminate your foes by bouncing them onto spikes surrounding the arena. Swing for the win to be the last germ standing! Capture the Flag – With only one flag, four germs and countless obstacles, be sure to hold on for the win. Hot Potato – Bombs 101: don’t be holding it when the timer runs out… Makes a good gift for fellow germs though. Synapse Snatch – The goal is simple: grab the ball and bring it to your coloured corner. Like typical cell behaviour, there’ll be copies. Try to stop the others from doing the same! Gobble – A germ’s gotta eat! Make sure you’re first to the feast when food spawns around the arena. Antibody – Avoid ‘Barney the Antibody’ at all costs. He’s big, mean and out to get you so keep him busy by encouraging your opponents to pay him a visit instead.

Gerrrms has been highly anticipated since its debut at the Big Indie Pitch at White Nights Amsterdam 2020, where it was awarded second place from the twenty games on show. With its two-button control scheme and straightforward gameplay mechanics, Gerrrms is the perfect game to jump into with friends regardless of their skill level. Featuring a huge variety of game modes, a bountiful roster of bacterium and intuitive controls, Gerrrms offers a fun and frantic experience for all as they battle to become the germicide master!

“Since gaining second place at the Big Indie Pitch we couldn’t wait to bring Gerrrms to the Nintendo Switch – It’s multiplayer mechanics and accessibility lends perfectly to the console.” said Robert Kujawa, co-founder for Bugbomb Games. “This will be the first time that germs get good press and we’re happy it will be in such an entertaining manner.”

Children of Morta Adds New Playable Character To The Mix!

Warsaw, Poland – June 24, 2020 — Children of Morta is an action-RPG all about the bonds of the courageous Bergson family, but that doesn’t mean the Bergsons’ home is a place where fellow adventurers aren’t heartily welcomed. 11 bit studios and Dead Mage are proud to present another free update to their indie hit, introducing Apan – a seventh playable character joining the party.

Apan – known as Clan Mother in her homeland – came from the far north of Mount Morta. She is as skilled in providing vital support for companions on the battlefield as she is in wielding a sturdy staff. Her weapon’s reach makes Apan perfect for delivering deadly mid-range strikes, her special Asva Pulse dash ability leaves opponents hindered in the dust, and her spells cover a large area of effect. In defence, all of the Bergsons can take advantage of Apan’s medical knowledge as she also boosts the effects of healing potions, and a new mechanic lets the family gain shields from items, abilities, and Apan’s Rage skill. Simply put, Apan’s presence makes them all stronger, especially in battle.

The exciting new character design was created by one of Children of Morta’s Kickstarter backers and his partner, who both believed in the project since its very early stages. Here’s what these backers – known as AgaRar and GlueBubble – had to say about the idea that inspired the Apan’s creation, “The idea for Apan came from the brainstorming of myself and my partner. We originally made her an orphan, but later changed her to a mother to better compliment the Children of Morta story and family theme. A strong leader of nomadic healers who allies herself with the Bergsons to aid them in their fight against Corruption. We hope that our inspiration, and Dead Mage’s hard work, translates into a character that you all will enjoy for years to come.”.

The Bergsons’ House free update is available on all platforms: Xbox One, PC (Steam, GOG.com, Humble Store), PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The free update contains:

  • A brand-new character with a unique skillset designed to play in single-player, but also shine in co-op playthroughs
  • Special shielding skills and passive healing mechanics
  • 32 new Apan-specific Runes
  • 9 new story cutscenes
  • A few HUD and UI tweaks
  • Additional bug fixes
