Action Strategy Card-Battler Golem Gates Arrive May 31st on Nintendo Switch!

Austin, Texas, USA – 16 May, 2019 – Indie publisher Digerati is delighted to announce that release dates have now been confirmed for the arrival on consoles of Golem Gates. The acclaimed action-strategy card-game hybrid will launch on PlayStation 4 on May 28th, then on Xbox One (and as a full 4K gaming experience on Xbox One X) and Nintendo Switch on May 31st.

Developed by Laser Guided Games, Golem Gates is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi blend of action-strategy and card battler, pitting your conjured armies against otherworldly forces. An ancient threat surges from the Golem Gates, and only the Harbinger stands guard. Wielding the nanite-infused power of The Ash, you must protect a world ravaged by ancient wars. Choose from 100 cards (known as Glyphs) and unleash diverse units, buildings, buffs, and more in tactical combat across single player, co-op, and online multiplayer.

Randomized drawing and quick unit placement means you’ll have to adapt on the fly as you formulate your strategy. Add more forces to a battle to turn the tide, transform a scouting party into an army, place emergency defenses to respond to the enemy, or hide an outpost in a direction the enemy doesn’t expect. The choices are yours, but beware: the enemy will do the same and with the right Glyph your forces can be destroyed as fast as they were created.

Key Features

  • Choose your Glyphs: Customize your deck from dozens of units, buildings, traps, buffs, debuffs, and techs
  • Streamlined tactics: Play cards/Glyphs directly into active combat and adapt at a moment’s notice to defend, flank, and fortify
  • Hours of unique content: Single player campaign, challenge scenarios, solo/co-op survival, local and online multiplayer, and more
  • Full 4K gaming on Xbox One X: Enjoy the gorgeous spectacle of science-fantasy warfare and screen-filling magical mayhem

Golem Gates is a great title and we wanted to make it the best it could possibly be on console. Laser Guided Games’ vision has been fully retained and whether it’s enjoying the game in 1080p, full 4K or on the go, Golem Gates has been fully optimised for every console platform and its individual capabilities,” said Digerati Director Nick Alfieri.

“We are so excited that we can finally reveal Golem Gates’ release date on console,” said the game’s creator, Matt Oelfke. “It’s coming soon and we can’t wait to see how console gamers take to the game. We’ve poured our heart and soul into Golem Gates, so we hope it resonates with players.”

Blast the forces of Hellion in bone-based arena battler, Skelly Selest, May 24th on Nintendo Switch!

2 May 2019 – Indie publisher Digerati and developer Caiysware are excited to announce that the fast-paced slash ‘n’ dash and run ‘n’ gun action of Skelly Selest is headed to Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Xbox One later this month. The PS4 release will be 21/22 May (NA/EU respectively), while the game will be available for both Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on 24 May.

Skelly Selest places players in the battle-hardened bone shoes of a Heavenly Keeper, in a relentless score-attack challenge against waves of Hellion forces.

“Skelly Selest was only intended as a small game jam but the release reaction really blew me away,” says developer Anthony Case. “On Steam it quickly racked up 100 reviews with a 98% positive rating, so I spent time with the Skelly community adding a whole bunch of new stuff to expand it to it’s current deamonica form. It was a real communal effort and a lot of fun, hope you enjoy the spooks!”

Super Blood Hockey out now for Nintendo Switch!

26 April, 2019 – Digerati Distribution and developer Loren Lemcke are thrilled to confirm that Super Blood Hockey is out now for Nintendo Switch™. The game is available to download from the eShop with a 20% launch discount for a limited time.

“Super Blood Hockey is a love letter to the 8-bit and 16-bit ice hockey video games of my childhood, back when high action gameplay reigned supreme,” explains the game’s creator, Loren Lemcke. “Players can expect a modern reinterpretation of the classic arcade sports experience with the blood and violence dialled up to eleven.”

Already available on Steam, where it has accrued a powerful 9/10 user rating, the Switch version includes an all-new Franchise Mode that puts players in the shoes of a corrupt coach as they recruit players from prison, utilize performance-enhancing drugs, pull the plug on injured teammates, and use other underhanded tactics to succeed.

PS4 and Xbox versions will follow at a soon-to-be-confirmed date sometime in Q2 2019.
