12 August, 2021 – Indie publisher Digerati is happy to confirm the release dates for The Magister. The murder-mystery card battler will launch September 2nd on Steam and Nintendo Switch, and September 3rd for Xbox One.

The latest game from developer Nerdook (Monster Slayers, Vertical Drop Heroes, Reverse Crawl), The Magister puts players in the role of a Magister – agents assigned to enforce the rule of law in the far-flung provinces of the Empire – who is dispatched to the remote village of Silverhurst to investigate a murder.

Players will be able to sample The Magister ahead of its release courtesy of The Magister: The First Two Days. As the name suggests, it will include the first two days of the randomly-generated whodunnit adventure (the full game takes place over 14 days). About the game

Key features

  • Randomly generated murder-mystery: A walkthrough won’t help here! The events, clues, motives, and murderer change with every playthrough. Only YOU can identify the guilty suspect.
  • Tactical card-based encounters: Your combat and negotiation skills are determined by the cards in your deck. Use a vast array of cards, such as ‘Heartstopper’, ‘Poison Slash’, ‘Weak Joke’, and ‘Long Talk’.
  • Pacify enemies for a peaceful outcome: Use ‘Tactical Diplomacy’ as an alternative to fighting and calm foes with your conversation cards to reduce their Rage level to 0.
  • Choose your Magister: Different Magisters come with their own specialities and flaws. From cunning alcoholic to intelligent insomniac – every variation defines a different adventure.
  • Recruit a human ally or furry companion: If needed, a Mercenary, Spy, or Sage can be recruited to assist in your investigation. You can also befriend one of the local cats or dogs to fight by your side in battles.
  • Set in a captivating fantasy world: You have 14 days to wander Silverhurst and befriend or intimidate its inhabitants as you race against time to unmask the murderer.

21 June, 2021 – Indie publisher Digerati is delighted to confirm the console release dates for Pythonesque point-and-click adventure, The Procession To Calvary. The game will launch July 1st on Nintendo Switch, and July 2nd on Xbox One. A PS4 version will follow very shortly afterwards – an exact release date will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The Xbox One version will be available to pre-order with a 10% launch discount starting June 25th, and both Xbox and Switch versions will launch with a 10% discount for a limited time.

Created by UK-based solo developer Joe Richardson, The Procession To Calvary is an adventure game that evokes the surreal humour of Monty Python, and is crafted entirely from hundreds of Renaissance paintings, with works from renowned masters such as Rembrandt, Bosch, and Michelangelo painstakingly cut and pasted into a madcap montage of invigorating imagery.

In The Procession To Calvary, players embark on a quest as an unnamed heroine to hunt down the tyrant Heavenly Peter. A bizarre cast of characters, perplexing puzzles, and implausible scenarios ensures the journey is a thoroughly absurd escapade.

About the game

The Procession to Calvary is a Pythonesque adventure game in which you journey through a richly detailed landscape built from hundreds of Renaissance paintings.

Huzzah! The holy war is over! Your oppressors have been vanquished, the churches of the Old God lay in ruin and thousands of innocent people have been murdered! But it’s not all good news; the tyrant Heavenly Peter has escaped your clutches, and you have been tasked with finding him…

Key Features

  • Pointing and Clicking: A traditional point and click interface, with a ‘verb coin’ interaction menu and a simple inventory from which you can access your preciously hoarded items
  • Renaissance Artwork: Paintings by Rembrandt, Botticelli, Michelangelo and many more are brought together into one consistent world
  • Classical Music: A soundtrack selected to fit with the style of the artwork. Enjoy music from composers such as Vivaldi, Bach, and George Frideric Handel
  • Optional Murder: Kill anyone who stands in your way and skip puzzles you don’t like. But be warned; your actions might come back to haunt you…
  • Nonsense: Humour reminiscent of Monty Python. But rest assured, while some of the jokes may be ridiculous, the puzzles make perfect sense!

Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition Out This Week on Nintendo Switch!

5 MAY, 2021 – Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition, the nihilistic action-platformer from indie developer Brainwash Gang and published by Digerati, launches this week on PC and console. It will be available from today, 5 May, on PS4, 6 May for Nintendo Switch, and 7 May on Xbox One, and PC (Steam, GOG, Humble, Green Man Gaming, Fanatical, and Nuveem). There will be a 20% launch discount for consoles, and 10% on PC.

Nongunz first launched on PC in 2017, with PS4 and Switch versions planned to follow. However, when Sindiecate – the game’s publisher at the time – vanished without a trace, the future for Nongunz and the planned console versions looked uncertain.

Following a chance encounter with Brainwash Gang at 35,000 feet (they were on the same flight), Digerati jumped at the opportunity to sign Nongunz and is thrilled to be able to give a remastered version of the game the full release it deserves across PC and, for the very first time, console.

Digerati is happy to confirm that anyone who owns the original Nongunz on Steam will receive a copy of Doppelganger Edition into their Steam Library absolutely free.

A roguelite wrapped inside a riddle, each run in Nongunz sees you parting from a black and white graveyard into an ever-changing gothic dungeon full of nightmares fleshed out of human viscera. Surviving not only requires skill but style, since Nongunz rewards you for long-lasting combos and challenges… moreover, score plays a key role in the progress of the idle game: the formation of your very own band of lost souls and death cultists.
