Darkest Dungeon launching tomorrow for $24.99; Ancestral Edition includes both DLC for $34.99!

Darkest Dungeon is Red Hook’s award-winning gothic horror RPG about the psychological stress of adventuring. It has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide to date.

The Nintendo Switch is a perfect platform for Darkest Dungeon: the hand-drawn art, turn-based gameplay, and touch-friendly interface make the game very suitable for both handheld and docked mode.

Darkest Dungeon will be selling on the Switch for 24.99 USD and regional equivalent. Two DLCs will also be available at launch: The Crimson Court and The Shieldbreaker.

Darkest Dungeon: Ancestral Edition includes both DLCs in addition to the core game, and will sell for 34.99 USD and regional equivalent.

Dandara landing on Nintendo Switch in February of 2018!

Dandara made quite the splash when we revealed it earlier this year as part of the Nintendo Switch Nindies showcase. Since then, we’ve taken her on journey around the world to show the game off to the public, and dev studio Long Hat House traveled to Sweden over the summer to participate in Stugan (a fantastic indie game incubator) and fine-tune the experience even further.

Long Hat House have kept their heads down while putting the finishing touches on Dandara and we’re proud to finally say the game is content complete! Or if you want to use that old term “Gold Master” then you could say it that way, too. Dandara launches in February 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android. That’s a lot of platforms! We couldn’t get it to work on an Amiga though. Next time, Amiga fam.

Though Dandara is complete, it just needs to get through all the usual certification processes to get it ready for release on various platforms. While that’s happening, the wonderful dev team from Belo Horizonte (fun fact: Belo Horizonte translates to “beautiful horizon” and it’s true) are working on additional content that will be released for Dandara later on in 2018. And yup, that DLC will be free.

When it launched in Japan 17 years ago, Pokémon Crystal introduced many new and exciting elements to the beloved Pokémon franchise. The game, an expanded version of the popular Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver games, was the first in the Pokémon franchise to allow players to choose between a boy or girl playable character, as well as being the first game to introduce animations during Pokémon battles.

Now this groundbreaking game is coming to Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on Jan. 26 for only $12.89.*

With the addition of Pokémon Crystal to this service, it is now possible for players to bring Pokémon from all 29 core games in the series to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.

In this version of Pokémon Crystal, players will also have the chance to encounter the mythical Pokémon Celebi in an event after completing the game. In the original Pokémon Crystal game, Celebi could only be obtained by using a special accessory.

As with the Nintendo eShop editions of Pokémon Gold and Pokémon SilverPokémon Crystal will take advantage of the wireless communication capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, allowing players to enjoy Link Trades and Link Battles with each other. With the Time Capsule feature, players can even trade and battle Pokémon from Pokémon RedPokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, which are all also available in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.

Fans also have the option to play Pokémon Crystal on a New Nintendo 2DS XL system that resembles an iconic Poké Ball. The Poké Ball Edition New Nintendo 2DS XL system can be purchased in stores at a suggested retail price of $209.99.
