Story

MOSCOW (July 18, 2018) — The people at Morteshka and Sometimes You are happy to release their atmospheric 2D adventure game, The Mooseman, today on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Developed by a small team of enthusiasts in Perm city, Russia, The Mooseman is set in the mysterious lands of Perm chud’ tribes. Players plays as a mythological character from perm animal style objects, which the developers were greatly inspired by.

The music of The Mooseman is also based on the folk music of Komi people. Some of the folk songs were performed and recorded for the game by the Perm regional college of arts and culture. Additionally, the game was translated to the komi-permian language and some parts were voiced by a native speaker.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – July 18, 2018 – Super Daryl Deluxe, the RPGvania with a brawler-style combat system and hand-drawn comic aesthetic from Dan & Gary Games, will double the awkwardness of its protagonist today with a free co-op multiplayer update on PC via beta branch. Console version updates for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 will follow later this year when the update is made live to all players on Steam.

Now Super Daryl Deluxe has twice the greasy mullet action and more terrible teenage awkwardness with the addition of a co-op multiplayer mode. Team up with another, bluer Daryl to get to the bottom of why WFHS students are suddenly disappearing.

Something strange is happening at the perfectly normal Water Falls High School (WFHS), where students visit multidimensional classrooms based on their subjects. Aid a cranky Beethoven in reclaiming his theater or fight sousaphone-playing ghosts in music class. Run errands for Napoleon Bonaparte in history. But beware, because classrooms are on lockdown and the new principal has yet to show his face to the student body.

With access to more than 45 powers, Daryl and his buddy Daryl can unleash beatings on foes roaming the halls of WFHS. Upgrade, customize, and equip up to five abilities at a time and chain them together to defeat 14 epic bosses and uncover the truth behind what’s going on.

Just because these Daryls have a common goal doesn’t mean they can’t smack each other around. Daryl and Daryl will vie for control of the Mullet Crown and the right to be the one true social outcast. Whoever has control of this holy headgear will dictate when they interact with students or loot classmates’ lockers and which class they’ll tackle next. If we’re lucky, they’ll stop fighting each other long enough to save everyone from certain doom.

“I got kind of annoyed playing Super Daryl Deluxe by myself while Dan just watched, so I added in multiplayer,’” said Gary Porter, Gary of Dan & Gary Games. “Now Dan has to play too, but he always gets the crown. I think I’ve made a terrible mistake.”

Super Daryl Deluxe is available in English for $19.99 USD and €19.99 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. The multiplayer update will be available for free to all Super Daryl Deluxe owners.

Moscow, Russia – July 17th 2018 – BUKA Entertainment and Sobaka Studio announced today the upcoming release of their brutal brawler Redeemer on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in August 2018.

Released on Steam last year, Redeemer received an overwhelming amount of feedback due to its charismatic protagonist and vigorous bloody gameplay.

The development team have taken into account the community’s input and added local co-op, character classes (Monk and Soldier) as well as other tweaks like the improvement of some levels’ balance.

PQube (London, UK) July 16th, 2018 – Having amassed praise and awards aplenty after its debut on Xbox One and PC earlier this year, PQube is excited to announce that pixel art thriller STAY will roll out on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this summer.

STAY follows the path of Quinn – a therapist who wakes up alone, locked in a strange room with nothing of note save for a computer hooked up to an internet chat room. Said chat room has one other member, however: You.

It’s up to you to try and help Quinn escape, making suggestions in real time that either guide Quinn to safety, or closer to his ultimate end. What would you do if a stranger’s fate rested in your fingertips? And how would you cope if every second could be the difference between life and death?

“STAY is a unique prospect, and one where the player can only influence Quinn rather than decide his every move,” says Michael Fisher, Product Manager at PQube. “It’s an approach that poses some interesting questions for the player. LOS ANGELES, California, July 12th,  2018 — Flying Tiger Entertainment presents Johnny Turbo’s Arcade: Express Raider, the ultimate Wild West shoot ’em up by Data East.

Originally released in 1986, players begin the game as a bandit in a black hat. The goal is to rob the fastest train in the West, the Gold City Express. Starting in the thick of the action, players must brawl with a banker before hopping onto the speeding locomotive.

Once atop the moving train cars, players must fight their way past enemies to steal the loot. Dodging bullets, avoiding bottles and ducking under signs are just some of the obstacles encountered. Stages vary between fighting on top of the moving train cars and shooting at enemies while riding horseback.

With the Real Arcade Feel, Express Raider is a test of stamina and strength, as well as gunslinger skills.

Express Raider is launching today for $7.99 in North America. Coming soon in selected European territories.
