We here at 11 bit studios and Digital Sun believe that a good adventure always requires a little bit of old-fashioned planning and — obviously — ​ a map!​ A carefully plotted path that will ultimately lead you to your goal. Is there a treasure waiting at the end of the road? Perhaps a princess or a prince? Shining, golden horse armor? You do you, we won’t judge. To aid you in your travels to the dungeons outside of Rynoka, we have prepared something very special for all of our fans, the​ Moonlighter Development Roadmap for 2018!

Since Moonlighter’s release, the feedback that we have received from fans has been equal parts overwhelming and also amazing! Our fans and community have some crazy good ideas and guess what — we have some as well! And you know what always works best? Cooperation! We’ve collected your feedback and ​we have incorporated as much of it as possible into our development plan​. After many internal discussions, hours of research, and the consumption of non-alcoholic beverages (swear!) — we proudly present to you Moonlighter Development Roadmap 2018​!

Excited? So are we! Let’s give you a little bit more information about each milestone from the roadmap (not everything, though – we like to keep some secrets) and this should go without saying, but all the updates you see here are going to be totally free!

ROADMAP DETAILS

• More Stock Update — Our first update will ​ add more than 50 new rooms​ ​distributed all over the four dungeons​ making a total of ​ almost 600 room patterns available​! It’s also going to improve the look of armors and enchanted items, plus we plan to add some additional help/tutorials to explain different shop upgrades better.
• Adventure Update — New Game+​ lets players start the whole game again with increased difficulty level. This update will also bring brand new​ Dimensional Weapons and Amulets​, powerful equipment based on an unknown and mysterious technology.
• Companion Update — Feeling lonely in the Dungeons? Worry no more! ​Choose a companion and bring it with you on the adventure​ ! ​Each companion will be a little bit different, offering various skill sets and looks. On top of that we’re going to introduce​ the ​ Custom Game​ — a set of options that will allow you to to modify certain game parameters to create diverse experiences.
• Trouble Update — Put your skills to the test by battling some brand new mini bosses! We’re not going to tell you anything more about them — because we want those enemies to surprise (and brutally defeat… muah ha ha ha) you during your adventures. Yup, we’re sadistic like that sometimes. We’re also going to add new​ Item Effects, boosting the game’s variety. This update should arrive sometime around Halloween — so we’re hoping to bring you some spoOOoky stuff, too!

That’s the basics, and as we said before, we don’t want to spoil everything so we can keep you on the edge of your seats while you wait for upcoming content! And yes – ​ we have even MORE updates planned for 2019​!

Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story casts you as the Principal of a small academy in the troubled world of Valthiria. As the newly recruited Principal, it’s up to you to start work on building an academy worthy of training the world’s heroes – students in the art of combat and magic.

Trained students of your Academy can then set forth into the world, picking up quests and setting of for adventure. Successful students will grow in ability, bringing back the spoils and loot from complete missions, loot which can be used to enhance your growing school.

Improved buildings and facilities will, in turn, attract better students, bringing more power, fame and fortune to your Valthirian Academy – but beware, as your school grows in popularity, so to can it be a pawn in the political struggles of Valthiria.

Causal Bit Games are pleased to reveal their latest teaser trailer for their forthcoming action adventure, Battle Princess Madelyn and introduce a familiar face!

In this teaser some updated stages are revealed, collecting weaponry and armor shards from the cursed chests.

Battle Princess Madelyn fans are encouraged to join the Causal Bit Games team on Discord.

WARSAW, Poland – June 28, 2018 – Dream Alone, the macabre 2D puzzle platformer from Fat Dog Games and WarSaw Games where players can manipulate reality, is out today on Nintendo Switch and Steam for PC. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will follow in Q4 2018.

Skillfully avoid traps and monsters lurking in the darkness and face challenging boss battles over the course of Dream Alone’s frightening levels. Swap between hellish alternate realities to look for hidden paths or slow down time and create clones to overcome formidable obstacles.

Dream Alone is a grim fairy tale in which a mysterious illness creeps through a once pleasant village, sending its unfortunate inhabitants into a deep coma. A small boy whose parents have fallen victim to the disease must venture into the dark unknown of whispering woods, ghost towns and howling caves to seek out the mythical sorceress Lady Death, his only hope of finding a cure for this wicked plague.

Inspired by classic, silent black and white German expressionist films, Dream Alone illustrates a haunting world through the grayscale camera lens of these old-school horror favorites. Chilling sounds from the award-winning Dream Alone composer, Paweł ‘Fleczer’ Flanc, complete the experience with dark, hauntingly beautiful tunes that will cause one to think twice about turning off the lights.

Staffordshire, UK – Lightwood Games is proud to introduce its newest picture puzzle game on Nintendo Switch – with a free playable demo!

The trial version of Fill-a-Pix: Phil’s Epic Adventure is available on the Nintendo eShop from Thursday June 28th, allowing players to sample this type of picture puzzle – a Japanese favourite – ahead of its release.

Fill-a-Pix: Phil’s Epic Adventure is the newest picture logic puzzle from the makers of Pic-a-Pix Deluxe, the popular full-colour picross game which was released earlier this year.

Developed by Lightwood Games and featuring puzzles by Conceptis, it introduces a brand new style – and scale – of picture puzzle to Nintendo Switch users.

The game’s narrator, Phil, invites players to assist him in developing photographs taken on his travel adventures. His not-so-instant camera has captured pictures in the form of logic puzzles!

The solutions are stunning pixel-art photos from around the world, ranging from small introductory pictures to massive landscapes with more than 6,000 pixels to fill in!

Often described as a mix of minesweeper and picross, Fill-a-Pix has only one rule. Each clue number shows how many squares in a block of nine – the clue itself, plus the eight squares around
it – should be filled in black.

A full interactive tutorial is also included to make sure players understand all the techniques needed to get stuck in. The unique Smart Cursor feature makes playing fluid and satisfying.

Options to guide you towards the next move and to check your progress so far mean you’ll never get stuck.

The full version of Fill-a-Pix: Phil’s Epic Adventure will be available to download on July 12th, 2018 on the Nintendo eShop. It contains 120 puzzles, including new puzzles which were not previously included in the Nintendo 3DS version. Pre-orders are now open.
