Have Fun Learning To Create Games When Game Builder Garage Launches June 11th!
VANCOUVER, B.C., May 5, 2021 – Have you ever dreamed of creating your own video game? That dream can become a reality with the Game Builder Garage software, launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch system on June 11. With this new software, kids and parents and everyone in between can have fun learning to create and share their very own video games. By connecting colourful creatures called Nodon, anyone can enjoy learning how to create their own game through fun, guided lessons that cover the basics of visual game programming – and no prior experience is necessary!
Nodon are creatures with big personalities that are used to help build your games from the ground up. There are dozens of Nodon in Game Builder Garage, each with a unique function, and you can learn how to build games just by connecting them in various ways. For example, you can create and move a human-like character with an analog stick just by connecting Stick Nodon with Person Nodon! Thus, you will get to learn the basics of game programming in a fun and intuitive way. You’ll be able to create a wide variety of different types of video games too – from side-scrolling platformers, to kart racers, to space blasters!
“For anyone who has always wanted to make their own video games, Game Builder Garage is the perfect place to start,” said Dom Gross, General Manager, Nintendo of Canada. “Through the use of guided lessons and memorable Nodon characters, Game Builder Garage helps make creating video games just as much fun as playing them!”
When you first boot up Game Builder Garage, you can start with Lesson Mode. Here, you will meet the colourful and quirky Nodon, the creatures that you will use to learn the basic concept of visual programming in step-by-step, interactive lessons you can take at your own pace. These lessons are designed to be fun, engaging and perfect for people of all experience levels, with Checkpoints in between for players to test their knowledge by solving small puzzles or tasks.
In Free Programming mode, you can bring your own game ideas to life by putting all the skills learned in the lessons to the test. With the simple press of a button, you can swap between the programming and game screen to quickly try out your creation and see how it plays.
If you’re looking for a little inspiration, you can exchange and download games with friends and family over the internet or via a local wireless connection.* This is a great way to not only show off some of your own creations, but also to check out games created by other players. You can even go into Free Programming mode to pull the curtain back on the programming of games uploaded by other players to study them and learn some tricks of your own!
While Game Builder Garage can be controlled with a Joy-Con controller, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller or the controls of the Nintendo Switch Lite system**, you can also build games using a compatible mouse that is plugged into the USB port on the Nintendo Switch dock. This control option might be easier for people who love the feel of a mouse when navigating the software.
Game Builder Garage launches for Nintendo Switch on June 11 in Nintendo eShop and on Nintendo.com at a suggested retail price of $39.99.

DariusBurst: Another Chronicle EX+ Set For June 11th 2021 Release!
Stuttgart, 12th May 2021 – TAITO and ININ Games are proud to announce DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ will be released both physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation 4 for Europe and North America this summer. DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ is a new revision of DariusBurst AC and comes with gorgeous 3D graphics.
It’s now 10 years since the original version and the original team, which is highly motivated, is still proudly working together on this version. The DariusBurst series started in 2009 on PSP, and was then greatly expanded upon with additional features and improved graphics for the 2010 arcade release. The game is developed by Pyramid Inc. and will not only include features of the arcade version of “Another Chronicle EX”, but there will also be new features like a replay mode and new missions.
Prepare to burst with power
The Burst Beam brings a new, strategic dynamic into the game and changes the battles dramatically. The screen-filling laser shoots powerful blasts or can be locked into a certain position and be used as a shield against enemy fire. Asteroids and enemy fire are replenishing the shield, which gives the player the opportunity to hide behind it for quite some time. A big advantage in boss battles!

One of the series’ most iconic features is the unique oceanic-themed design of enemy bosses. Inspired by a mix of Sci-Fi and deep-sea creatures, embodied as large mechanical battleships, they can be admired in all the graphical glory of DariusBurst: Another Chronicle EX+!
The screen is ultra-broad, modelled after the dual-display of the arcade version creating a fantastic sight into the marine-themed setting. The magnificent sea-life panorama is enhanced by an equally great soundtrack.TAITO’s in-house sound team Zuntata amplifies the adrenaline-filled atmosphere with powerful beats and emotional tunes.
Features:
- Local co-op for up to 4 players
- 4 game modes and all new and exclusive scenarios

Inca mythology action-RPG Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards comes to Nintendo Switch on May 26th!
New York City, USA – May 11th, 2021 – Digitart Interactive and N-Fusion Interactive are proud to announce that its Inca mythology-based action-RPG Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards is coming to PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch on May 26th for $19.99. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will follow. Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards stars comic book creator and actress Paula Garces (Harold & Kumar series, On My Block, Clockstoppers, The Shield) as Incan demigod Aluna as she embarks upon a quest to understand the mysterious fate bestowed upon her.
Developed by Digiart Interactive and N-Fusion Interactive, Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards is a rip-roaring romp through Inca lore featuring mythological gods, beasts, and tales that formed the backbone of 16th century Colombian culture. Venture from the Sanctuary seaside cliffs through the massive jungles of the New World, all the way to Nagaric’s Temple in the Volcanic Canyons in this pulpy period adventure.
Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards follows the exploits of Aluna, the warrior daughter of a Spanish conquistador and South American nature goddess Pachamama. Raised in early 16th century Spain, Aluna escaped to the New World only to realize it was her true homeland. Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards sets our heroine on a quest through Inca mythology as she strives to restore the amulet her goddess mother entrusted to her… and fulfill her true destiny.
Created by Paula Garces and Antonio Hernandez in response to the underrepresentation of both Latin and female superheroes in the entertainment industry, Aluna went on to become a cult hit and is currently starring in the ongoing comic book saga, The World of Aluna, written by Assassin’s Creed and Batman: Arkham Origins scribes Ryan Galletta, Dooma Wendschuch, and Corey May. Aluna further made a name for herself in video games after becoming a playable character in S2 Games’ popular MOBA Heroes of Newerth, where she was played by Paula Garces herself.
“Creating Aluna has been a joy, as Latin characters and women have historically been woefully underrepresented in pop culture,” said Aluna creator and actress Paula Garces. “It was a thrill bringing her to life on the page and in Heroes of Newerth, but giving her a starring role in an action-RPG is an all new opportunity to let everyone – not just me – embody Aluna and understand the power that comes with her unique heritage. She’s the badass Latina heroine I never had growing up!”
“Aluna has been a passion project for Paula and I for years, as we’ve long struggled with the poor representation of Latin American people in our culture,” said Digiart Interactive founder Antonio Hernandez. “Video games are among the most widely shared forms of entertainment available today, and being able to share our heritage with a wider audience is exciting beyond words. We can’t wait for people to get their hands on Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards on May 26th.”

Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition Out This Week on Nintendo Switch!
5 MAY, 2021 – Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition, the nihilistic action-platformer from indie developer Brainwash Gang and published by Digerati, launches this week on PC and console. It will be available from today, 5 May, on PS4, 6 May for Nintendo Switch, and 7 May on Xbox One, and PC (Steam, GOG, Humble, Green Man Gaming, Fanatical, and Nuveem). There will be a 20% launch discount for consoles, and 10% on PC.
Nongunz first launched on PC in 2017, with PS4 and Switch versions planned to follow. However, when Sindiecate – the game’s publisher at the time – vanished without a trace, the future for Nongunz and the planned console versions looked uncertain.
Following a chance encounter with Brainwash Gang at 35,000 feet (they were on the same flight), Digerati jumped at the opportunity to sign Nongunz and is thrilled to be able to give a remastered version of the game the full release it deserves across PC and, for the very first time, console.
Digerati is happy to confirm that anyone who owns the original Nongunz on Steam will receive a copy of Doppelganger Edition into their Steam Library absolutely free.
A roguelite wrapped inside a riddle, each run in Nongunz sees you parting from a black and white graveyard into an ever-changing gothic dungeon full of nightmares fleshed out of human viscera. Surviving not only requires skill but style, since Nongunz rewards you for long-lasting combos and challenges… moreover, score plays a key role in the progress of the idle game: the formation of your very own band of lost souls and death cultists.
