Melbourne, Australia – August 25th, 2020 – Independent developer Phase Two today announced that their squad-based RPG Battle Hunters will be bringing some classic fantasy adventure plus innovative tactical combat to PC and Nintendo Switch in October.

The Kingdom is in Danger and the oldest and wisest wizard stands alone, the last bastion of hope, struggling to keep a nameless villain at bay. Players will command a team of 3 plucky adventurers, plunging headlong into dungeons, caves, forests and swamps as they heed the call for help from the old one.

A huge variety of beastly adversaries and monstrous villains will impede your quest, hellbent on your party’s destruction as you make your way across different regions of the kingdom. Yet mighty heroes also stand ready to join the fight as your valiant band takes on the forces of darkness. From the Great Forest, inhabited by devious goblins and lumbering trolls, to the high Cliffs of Desolation, where vicious gargoyles and unstoppable stone golems await you.

Battle Hunters offers a unique and intuitive combat system that combines strategic command of your heroes with a combination of turn-based and real-time action. Combat takes place with melee and ranged characters, armed with all manner of swords, spells, blades and blasters. Heroes can be upgraded, swapped around, and mixed and matched to tailor make a party, giving you a better fighting chance. Locked chests and barrels of food provide plenty of loot to keep your pockets full of gold and your heroes well-fed. Mini quests provide short-term objectives while also driving the overall narrative forward.

With a more strategic approach to combat, Battle Hunters lets players form an adventurer party of 3, chosen from a lineup of 28 unique hero characters who are met and recruited along the journey. Be it the Wizard, the Barbarian, the Rogue or any other hero, each has their own specialized fighting skills and unique abilities that players can level up and enhance along the way. Different heroes bring a range of strengths and weaknesses to the battle, and with such a wide array of enemies to confront, the player must use the right combination of heroes to suit their own battle style, and to ensure victory.

London, UK – 20th August, 2020: The first ever video game based on the award-winning television series Peaky Blinders – one of the most popular dramas on global TV in recent years – Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is out today on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being published by Curve Digital and has been developed by award winning indie studio, FuturLab in collaboration with the creative and production teams behind Peaky Blinders, the independent production company Caryn Mandabach Productions.

Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is a puzzle-adventure game based on the multi-award-winning TV show where players will pull the strings, as Tommy Shelby and his gang seek to take control of the streets of Birmingham in the early 20th century.

Set right before the events of the first season, players will join the Shelby family’s criminal organisation as they discover a sinister plot to put Tommy out of business. The game taps directly into Tommy’s talent for planning complex scenarios in his head, with players forming strategies by taking control of key members of the Shelby family down on the ground.

Peaky Blinders: Mastermind will allow players to set and rewind each character’s path in order to tune all of their actions for perfect coordination, tactically utilising characters and stealth to solve increasingly complex puzzles.

Hamar, Norway – August 18th 2020 – Norway-based developer Perfectly Paranormal is pleased to announce that their new body desecration puzzle-platformer Helheim Hassle is out today on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC (Steam); with the PlayStation 4 version coming a little later this year.

Helheim Hassle is a comedic yet macabre narrative adventure game, from the same universe as previous hit Manual Samuel, that is as much about friendship as it is about body parts. You play as Bjørn, a pacifist Viking who hates the idea of dying and going to Valhalla (who then ends up dying and getting taken to Valhalla) as he seeks to negotiate his way out while helping the mysterious Pesto on a quest to retrieve a certain magical item… In return, Pesto will try to grant Bjørn a permanent residence in Helheim – what a hassle!

Players will be tasked with completing up to 70 quests over 14 levels, requiring the use of all manner of different body part combos to complete the game’s unique puzzle-platforming challenges. On this adventure, players will come into contact with 80 different characters from all walks of life (and death) ranging from frustrated god souls, bear ghosts, dragons, elves, dwarves and blue-collar goblins; all voiced by 24 professional voice actors delivering 3,700 lines of spoken dialogue!

Snack attack across 30+ reactive arenas including cloudy temples, mountaintops dotted with portals, and storm-lit fields where the flash of lightning exposes foes.
