Staffordshire, UK – Lightwood Games has released the first pack of add-on content for Block-a-Pix Deluxe on Nintendo Switch, and it’s the first of many more to come!

Available on the Nintendo eShop now for just $2.99, Block-a-Pix Puzzles 1 adds 30 brand new picture puzzles to the game.

Block-a-Pix is a picross-style logic puzzle where you divide a grid into blocks to create a colourful mosaic, which reveals a hidden picture.

Lightwood has pledged to support this game throughout 2019 with frequent new content updates, and a brand new pack of Block-a-Pix puzzles will be released every month.

Lightwood’s other picture puzzle titles will also continue to receive regular DLC updates.

New packs for Pic-a-Pix Deluxe have been released twice-monthly since the game launched in January 2018.

Next week will see the release of Classic 16, adding even more classic picross puzzles to the game. This will be followed later in April by Giant Puzzles 10, which contains the most challenging full-colour puzzles in the largest possible sizes.

Similar DLC packs will continue to be released for Pic-a-Pix Deluxe on the first and third Thursdays of each month.

New puzzles for Pic-a-Pix Pieces will come along every second Thursday, while the new Block-a-Pix Deluxe packs are scheduled for the fourth Thursday of every month. All packs cost $2.99.

Each game has a playable demo on the Nintendo eShop.

Toronto, Canada – March 27, 2019 – Lightning Rod Games has released a touching new teaser trailer for their award-winning upcoming title A Fold Apart. It really pulls at the ol’ heartstrings, that’s for sure.

Set to launch in June 2019 on Nintendo Switch and for Windows, A Fold Apart is about a couple experiencing the joys and sorrows of a long-distance relationship.

“A Fold Apart may be based on my own real life experience with a long-distance relationship,” explains Lightning Rod Games co-founder Mark Laframboise, ”but the feelings of being apart from a loved one are much more universal than that. One of our main goals for the story has been to make it accessible and relatable to anyone who plays it, including those who may not have experienced a long-distance relationship themselves.”

Using a unique paper folding game mechanic to guide the two characters together, A Fold Apart explores what it means to communicate (and miscommunicate) with those we love.

The game will be available for demos at PAX East this weekend in Boston. Look for the blue and orange booth (#23117, to be exact) and pick up an origami heart for yourself.

York, Monday 25th March 2019 – ‬Revolution Software is excited to announce it has reunited with legendary comic book artist Dave Gibbons to create Beyond a Steel Sky – the long-awaited follow-up to classic 90’s dystopian cyberpunk adventure Beneath a Steel Sky.

Premiered in the Apple Arcade sneak peak during today’s Apple keynote, Beyond a Steel Sky is in development for PC, console, and Apple devices. It is a thrilling story of loyalty and redemption set in an eery and terrifying world of AI-driven social controls. As can be expected of a Revolution adventure, the tale is woven with the studio’s signature humor, supported by Gibbons’ acclaimed artistic style.

Staffordshire, UK – Lightwood Games is delighted to announce that its newest picture puzzle game is now available on Nintendo Switch, and is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita next week!

Block-a-Pix Deluxe was teased last week with a free playable demo and is now fully available on the Nintendo eShop.

The PlayStation version is a cross-buy game for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, with a platinum trophy awarded to players who solve every puzzle. It will be available from Tuesday, March 26th.

Developed by Lightwood Games and featuring puzzles by Conceptis, Block-a-Pix Deluxe is the newest picross-style game from the makers of Pic-a-Pix Deluxe and Pic-a-Pix Pieces.

In this full-colour picture puzzle, players must divide the grid into smaller rectangular blocks to create a colourful mosaic and reveal the final image.

As always, these puzzles are hand-crafted, uniquely solvable logic problems. They can always be solved by using deduction – you never have to guess.

Block-a-Pix Deluxe contains 120 puzzles, including new pictures which were not previously included in the Nintendo 3DS game Block-a-Pix Color.

Block-a-Pix Deluxe supports English, French, German and Spanish.

OSLO, Norway – March 20th, 2019 – During today’s Epic keynote at the Game Developer Conference in San Francisco, publisher Funcom and the developers at The Bearded Ladies announced from the stage that Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is finally making its way to Nintendo Switch and that the date to mark in your calendar is June 25th, 2019. It was also announced that the Nintendo Switch version will come with an expansion DLC that will also be available for purchase on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Lastly, it was announced that a retail Deluxe Edition will also release on June 25th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch which will include both the base game and the expansion DLC.

The retail edition is being co-published together with Maximum Games and is already available for pre-order at select retailers, with more rolling out soon. The retail Deluxe Edition is listed with a $39.99 SRP.

More information about the expansion DLC, including digital pricing, will be revealed later.
