Rimelands: Hammer of Thor Lands Today on Nintendo Switch!
October 4th, Warsaw, Poland
It’s all started on an airship, many years ago. Your parents were murdered by a group with a strange symbol on their uniforms. You’ve managed to escape with your Gran but today, 20 years later, they’re back. You aren’t a child anymore, now you can fight back.
About Rimelands: Hammer of Thor
Rimelands: Hammer of Thor is a turn-based RPG set in a unique world where steampunk meets Norse mythology. You’re playing as a young treasure hunter who accidentally gets involved in a fight with a mysterious enemy that threatens your world. It turns out that a new villain is connected to the murder of your parents and there are more secrets about you your heritage to solve.
In Rimelands, magic coexists with technology so there’re many ways to fight. At your disposal are traditional fantasy weapons like swords and hammers, various spells, and also newer technological inventions such as pistols. For each fighting style, there is dedicated a skill tree: barbarian, assassin, and shaman.
The fighting system is based on the roll of the dice – each turn your and your enemy’s power of attack depends on what you draw. Every dice got attack side, double attack, defend and an empty slot. It’s a simple mechanic but also deep with the addition of bonuses from equipment and skills.
Features:
- adventure in a fantasy world where magic exists next to technology powered by steam
- intriguing and unpredictable plot
- a turn-based fighting system with simple, but deep mechanics
- three skill trees: barbarian, assassin, and shaman
- a crafting system that lets you create powerful equipment
You can get Rimelands: Hammer of Thor now on Nintendo Switch.

ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! Introduces New Endless and Extreme Game Modes!
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Oct. 1, 2019 – ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!, the fourth entry in the beloved, funkadelic action roguelike series from HumaNature Studios, drops a new present: a new update available now on Xbox One, later this week on PlayStation 4, and soon after on Nintendo Switch. The new modes are already playable on Steam. The game is now available for $5 cheaper than before at $14.99, so save those dollars for some sweet presents.
To prove the squad has been listening to their number one homies, HumaNature is dropping the v1.5 update with not one, but two new modes: Extreme and Endless. They listened and took notes of more than 100 fan-requested changes to include in the Extreme World. Not bad, huh?
Y’all ToeJam & Earl veterans wanted a more retro difficulty similar to the original game, and the guys heard that too. Finishing the Hard World now unlocks Extreme, which offers 25 levels filled with more broken presents, progressively harder, faster and smarter enemies, changes to all characters’ stats, and gameplay much, MUCH harder than v1.0. Don’t forget the first ToeJam and Earl is available on the SEGA Genesis Mini so you can compare the difficulties directly.
Endless World is unlocked after reaching level 10 on Extreme World. Strap on some rocket skates, rack up a bunch of tomatoes, and get to work. Endless has over 1000 levels! Exactly 1001, in fact. Go beyond the maximum rank of ‘Funklord’ and level up the characters to strengths not possible in the core game, the Endless World equals Endless amount of fun.
“Our TJ&E fans keep asking us for more game modes and it’s hard to say ‘no,’ ” said Greg Johnson, founder of Humanature Studios. “Hopefully this will keep them busy for a while. 😉 And by the way, if anyone manages to beat both extreme mode and endless mode (Good luck!) I will sign their games and congratulate them myself.”
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! is available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), and Brazilian Portuguese for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Mac via Steam for $14.99 USD, a recent permanent price drop from $19.99 across all platforms. Japanese language support is coming out before the end of the year.

Tic-Tac-Letters by POWGI Arrives This Week on Nintendo Switch!
Staffordshire, UK – Lightwood Games is thrilled to announce the release of their latest puzzle game, Tic-Tac-Letters by POWGI.
The game is available on the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS Vita today, and on the Nintendo eShop for Switch on Thursday, October 3rd. A demo for Switch is also available.
Tic-Tac-Letters is a single-player logic puzzle based on tic-tac-toe, but with a unique POWGI twist.
To begin, players will need to fill a grid with letters so that there are no more than two Xs and Os consecutive in a row or column. As the game progresses, different letters are used and the puzzles become larger and more challenging.
Unusually for the “by POWGI” series, this game does not require any knowledge of the English language to succeed. Puzzles are solved by pure logic, making them more similar to sudoku than a word search.
Tic-Tac-Letters by POWGI features the usual no-fluff approach, common to titles by Lightwood Games. It’s optimised to launch quickly to get you straight to the content and a help feature will point you towards the next move if you get stuck.
Cross-buy is included for PlayStation, so players can download the game on PS4 and Vita with one purchase. Players who complete the game will be rewarded with a platinum trophy.
