Stuttgart, Germany – September 27, 2019 – Stuttgart based publisher, Strictly Limited Games, specializing in the release of strictly limited physical collector’s editions of digital games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch, today announced that the pre-order for the crazy action side scroller, Door Kickers: Action Squad for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, will start on September 29.

In addition to the limited Standard Edition, there will also be an exclusive Collector’s Edition with 700 copies for PlayStation 4 and 1,500 copies for Nintendo Switch, which can also be pre-ordered here.

With Door Kickers: Action Squad, the latest entry to the award-winning Door Kickers franchise, KillHouse Games, in cooperation with PixelShard Labs, deliver a grandiose old-school side scroller on current-gen video game consoles that combines bizarre SWAT action with a touch of strategy and tactics, presented in stunning 2D pixel art. 26 September, 2019 – Publisher Big Sugar and developer Steel Mantis are delighted to reveal the PC and console release dates for Valfaris. The heavy metal action-platformer will be available to download as follows:

• October 10: PC (Steam, GOG, Humble) and Nintendo Switch
• November 5/6: PS4 NA/EU respectively
• November 8: Xbox One

In addition to the standard version, a Valfaris Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available at launch for PC and PS4 that includes the game, original soundtrack (composed and recorded by former Celtic Frost guitarist, Curt Victor Bryant), and digital artbook.

Baltimore, MD – September 26th 2019 Independent games publisher Versus Evil in partnership with Breadcrumbs Interactive today announced that pre-orders are now available for its action role-playing game Yaga ahead of its November launch on PC via the Epic Games Store. Yaga will also be arriving to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One at the same time.

Yaga’s darkly funny narrative and action role-playing premise tells the story of Ivan, a one-handed blacksmith with incredibly bad luck, who must take on the impossible tasks given to him by the tzar. All the while the mysterious witch, Baba Yaga, watches over Ivan’s fate as he bludgeons a variety of nefarious monsters and legends all of which have been inspired by Slavic folk tales.

Players can take on this motley underworld of beasts and abominations with a variety of weapons that they can create with Yaga’s deep crafting system to forge lightning hammers and hookshot pitchforks and other similarly deadly melee weapons.

Yaga features a head-bobbing Romanian hip-hop soundtrack from Subcarpați and all beautifully realized with stunning hand-drawn 2D animation. Players can also explore a combination of talismans, magic items, blessings, perks, and curses to fundamentally change how Ivan plays. The path through was overgrown, as Solovei Rakhmatich, also known as Nightingale, killed all who attempted to pass. Nightingale was known for his powerful whistle, which could flatten trees and kill men dead. Il’ya survived Nightingale’s powerful whistle, he shot a fiery arrow at Nightingale’s temple, pounced on him and captured him. Nightingale’s human children tried to come to his rescue, but Il’ya killed them all. Il’ya then presented Nightingale to the prince and ultimately beheaded the half-man, half-bird thief. But this never happened in Ivan’s world. The legendary warrior Il’ya is far away, and Nightingale is on the loose. Can a simple blacksmith face such a challenging foe?

BORDEAUX, France – Sept. 26, 2019 – Northgard, the acclaimed, million-selling Viking strategy game from Shiro Games, comes into port today on Nintendo Switch. The title is also set to launch for PlayStation 4 on Thursday, Oct. 3, followed by Xbox One on Friday, Oct. 4.

The console release features all the content found in the base Steam version, including the major Ragnarok and Relics updates, six clans, a lengthy single player story campaign, co-op and competitive online play across a variety of locales, such as the apocalyptic Ragnarok map, ranked play, and much more. It also incorporates many tweaks and a completely revamped user interface optimized for gamepads to ensure playing with a controller feels effortless.

A strategy game steeped in Norse mythology, Northgard has garnered critical acclaim and sold more than 1 million units on Steam since its arrival in 2018. The game follows a Viking clan exploring and settling new territories teeming with untold riches and deadly foes, ranging from dire wolves and undead warriors to giants and great dragons. You’re playing as Rose Cristo – a young treasure hunter on a quest to unveil the mystery behind a new enemy that arrives up into your world. On your way, you uncover the truth about your heritage and stop the threat that could destroy the world.

As fantasy and technology coexist you can use spells, melee weapons like swords and also newer inventions such as pistols. There are three skills trees corresponding to these type of combat: barbarian, assassin and shaman.

The fighting system is based on the roll of the dice – each turn you and your enemy roll and power of attack depend on what you draw. Every dice got attack side, double attack, defend and an empty slot. It’s a simple mechanic but also deep with the addition of bonuses from equipment and skills.
