Manchester, UK, August 4, 2021 – Merge Games and Maple Powered Games have announced that Monster Harvest, the upcoming farming sim meets critter collecter adventure, will need a few more weeks of polish to harvest its potential. The tough decision has moved the release back to August 31st on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

A note from the team follows:

We know you’ll be disappointed and we do not take these decisions lightly. There was one final development hurdle to jump over that didn’t quite work out and pushing back a little was necessary to deliver exactly what we want players to experience. There’s a wonderful community that has sprouted up around Monster Harvest and we absolutely want to do right by the community, even when it means making what could be a disappointing decision.

The Steam demo is still there and available to play! Your progress in the demo will carry over to the full game, though you may want to consider starting fresh and taking advantage of any improvements and fixes added by that point.

Thank you so much for the continued support and your patience as we make sure Planimal Point is ready for your arrival!

About Monster Harvest

Monster Harvest is a pixelated farming simulator with a twist! You will find yourself starting a new life in Planimal Point, ready to develop your own farm, customize your house, craft your own furniture and make delicious jams. What’s more, you can even mutate your crops to create loyal and fierce companions to take into battle!

During the journey through Planimal Point, you will discover strange Slimes which can mutate your crops in ways they would never have imagined! Depending on the season, the Slime, or the crop you mutate, you will be able to create up to 72 different mutations!

Some crops will mutate into Planimals who are loyal mutated crops that stay by your side through thick and thin. They’ll be a key companion as you adventure across Planimal Point, taking part in thrilling turn-based battles and exploring dungeons as you try to bring down the evil SlimeCo.

WitchSpring3 Re:Fine – The Story of Eirudy is a standalone game and can be enjoyed even if you haven’t played the previous parts of the WitchSpring series. In WitchSpring3 Re:Fine – The Story of Eirudy, dolls are of central importance to Eirudy, if not indispensable. By defeating monsters, Eirudy absorbs vitality into her soul stone to bring her dolls to life. With her companions to stand by her, the brave witch faces every enemy in her way.

As the game progresses, Eirudy’s collection of puppet companions grows, each coming with individual abilities to aid her in battle. Using, understanding and summoning these dolls is one aspect of mastering this expansive RPG!

Paris, July 30, 2021 – Today, Microids announced that the detective game Murder Mystery Machine, developed by studio Blazing Griffin, will launch digitally on PC (Steam), Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on August 25. The game will also be part of the Indie Arena Booth Online 2021 during Gamescom!

As part of the Indie Arena Booth Online, participants will be able to experience the event in a virtual & engaging manner: visitors will have the ability to walk around virtual halls to discover a variety of indie gems! Murder Mystery Machine will have its own digital booth, with posters, an arcade allowing visitors to play the game’s demo and even a screen to view the game’s video assets.
