BATTLLOON Flies to Switch on February 28th!

TOKYO – Feb. 4, 2019 – BATTLLOON, the balloon-battling party game from Sony publishing label UNTIES and noname studio will pop on Nintendo Switch and Steam on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019.

Gather two to four people, choose from six balloons and engage in the ultimate high-stakes drama. Attack and bump buddies into spiked walls to be crowned king of the balloon battles. Using only the control stick and a single button, BATTLLOON is an easy game for everyone to get hooked on. Avoiding getting popped is harder than it looks, but deflation is not the end. Punctured pals revive as ghosts who can still compete for victory points.

Each bouncy balloon is a supreme warrior with distinct playstyles. Puffer can grow big and become unmovable; Birdie Jay is the master of maneuverability but light and easy to bonk into spikes; and Astro Cat wows onlookers with its fabulous rainbow trail.

Retro-style pixel arenas and upbeat chiptunes set the stage for colorful battlegrounds. Each environment carries its own special dangers like balloon-eating fish or spiky volcanic rocks that can pop anyone caught off guard. BATTLLOON’s transcendental conflicts and whimsical squabbles burst with vibrant visuals and gales of giggles to create a party experience that will keep people of all ages glued to their controllers.

“Take one look at BATTLLOON and anyone can see the kind of over-the-top fun they’re in for,” said John Davis, G&R Representative, UNTIES. “It’s the kind of experience that has drawn attendees at shows like PAX across the showfloor to see what the hell is going on, with gameplay kept them coming back for more. Now we look forward to sharing BATTLLOON with the world.”

BATTLLOON will be available via Nintendo Switch eShop and Steam on Feb. 28. It will support the English and Japanese languages for two to four players locally.

Metroidvania Necrosphere Deluxe Reaches Switch Checkpoint Today!

FLORIANÓPOLIS, Brazil – Jan. 31, 2019 – Necrosphere Deluxe, the retro adventure-platformer with minimalist controls from Sony publishing label UNTIES and developer Cat Nigiri, brings its pink unitard and super jetpack to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita today. An Xbox One version will follow suit in Q1 2019.

Secret agent Terry Cooper wasn’t expecting to get shot during his latest mission, much less awaken in the Necrosphere, the realm where all souls go before they can permanently rest in peace. Now, not quite dead and lost in a place bursting with obstacles threatening to kill him for good.

Cooper dodges sizzling fire curtains, deadly spikes and more devious traps as he searches for a way back to the Normalsphere. Frequent checkpoints mean each respawn puts him straight back into action, where Cooper can learn–or die again–from his mistakes. Gravity bubbles and powerful jetpacks help him to reach new heights and collect items on his two-buttons adventure.

Now with improved graphics, optimized performance and additional languages, Necrosphere Deluxe is a delightfully challenge for fans of metroidvanias and platformers alike.

“Necrosphere Deluxe is a metroidvania dished out in bite-sized segments, perfect for swift respawning without losing any progress,” said Caio Lopez, founder of Cat Nigiri. “Using minimalistic controls and 16-bit style artwork we were able to create a fantastically demanding experience that will deliver fond nostalgic memories to old-school gamers.”

Necrosphere Deluxe is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows and Mac via Steam for $7.99 in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption Adds Boss, Game Modes, New Weapons on Feb 19th!

HONG KONG – Jan. 28 2019 – Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption, the boss battler from publisher Another Indie and the AAA veterans at developer Dark Star Game Studios, incorporates additional game modes, a new boss and two more weapons when it brings the fight to Steam on Feb. 19, 2019. Discord, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox will receive the new content in a free update at the same time.

New Game+ will add three new challenges for the ultimate tests of skill. The Trial of Speed will grant Adam swiftness in exchange for losing invulnerability during dodge rolls, Trial of Consequence will make death permanent and Trial of the Sinner will combine both modifiers for the most challenging experience yet.

The haunting action RPG’s arsenal of bosses will expand with the addition of Cowardly Modic, the fowl-est boss yet, a giant deadly armored chicken. Defeat the brutal bird to unlock two weapon sets based on other bosses’ kits, twin swords and a sword and shield combo, to complement Adam’s already powerful arsenal.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption challenges Adam to defeat specters from his past, each based on one of the seven deadly sins. Sacrifice Adam’s vitality, strength or another trait before battle, making each fight more treacherous than the last. The perilous journey through a macabre landscape culminates in a fearsome final boss which Adam must defeat to find atonement in one of multiple endings.

“Our most significant update yet is designed to give players more ways to challenge themselves,” says Iain Garner, director of developer relations, Another Indie. “PC Gamers who have been waiting for Sinner to arrive on Steam won’t be disappointed, as they will receive the most content-packed edition.”

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is currently available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Discord for $18.99 in English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Russian.
