Manchester, UK – Nov 7th, 2019 — Merge are delighted to announce that Sparklite is now available to pre-order on Nintendo Switch & Xbox One. Ahead of the November 14th launch on Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC, Merge Games will also be giving players a taste of what to expect in the top-down action adventure with the Sparklite Steam demo early next week!

The upcoming demo was the first unlock in the Steam Wishlist promotion, where Red Blue Games and Merge reward excited fans with content as more add Sparklite to their wishlists. Fans of Sparklite will also soon have access to a Hi-Res Wallpaper.

6 August, 2019 – Publisher Big Sugar is thrilled to officially confirm that physical versions of its upcoming action-platformer, Valfaris, will be available at retail for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this November. The boxed versions come courtesy of publisher and distributor, Merge Games. An exact release date for the physical versions are still to be confirmed.

The physical versions are in addition to the digital release of Valfaris across PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. Release dates for the downloadable version will be announced in the coming weeks.

Solo is a game about love. About love as fuel, the force that drives us.

It is a universal feeling, but each of us experiences it in a different way. Individually, it holds different meanings depending on a variety of factors such as culture, gender, sexuality or traumas. That’s why Solo explores this theme in an introspective way, to have the players identify and reflect on their own experiences.

Solo is a contemplative puzzler set on a gorgeous and surreal archipelago. Reflect on your loving relationships by exploring contemplative, dream-like islands.

• Reflect on love’s place in your life with a personal and introspective branching narrative.
• Combine blocks with different properties offering multiple solutions for most puzzles.
• Contemplate and explore a living world: take photos of the charming, colourful islands amidst tranquil tunes or play the guitar for cute creatures.

Nature and contemplation are also a huge part of Solo – you could feed the animals or just sit on a bench and take the time to think. After all, it’s up to you – Solo provides you with the opportunity to explore at your own pace.

The world is divided into archipelagos, and each archipelago is formed by small islands. Each island represents a unique puzzle the sailor will have to solve before getting to the Sleeping Totems and awakening them to answer a question about love and relationships. Using boxes, each with different properties and behaviours, the sailors can build their own paths to the Sleeping Totems on each island.

However, as is the case with love, most puzzles offer no unique solution.

Solo: Islands of the Heart released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PlayStation 4 version released on the 30th July, the Xbox One version released on the 31st July, and the Nintendo Switch version on the 1st August. Manchester, UK, July 16th, 2019 — We all need a little help now and then. Luckily, adventurers ready to tackle the perils of Sparklite can get a leg up on their foes thanks to Professor Corwin’s Bestiary of Brutal Baddies of Geodia! Sparklite, the colorful action-adventure from Red Blue Games and Merge Games, will be coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this October. We want to give players an early heads-up on a few of the cantankerous critters they’ll encounter on their journey!

Geodia is home to many docile and beautiful animals, however, not all is well in this usually-peaceful land! The power-hungry Baron’s nefarious mining activities have altered and polluted Geodia’s once-majestic Biomes. The animals residing in these areas have been affected too; transforming into mutated and aggressive creatures. Continued mining is causing Geodia’s landscape to shift, changing its layout with each Fracture and further affecting the creatures. Our hero, Ada, has undertaken a great and difficult cause; put a stop to the Baron, his Titans, and their pollutive mining, and reverse the effects they’ve had on Geodia and its inhabitants.

To aid you, Professor Corwin, Geodia’s foremost expert on Geodian wildlife, was kind enough to catalogue some of the mutated creatures you’ll encounter as you journey through the Biomes in Geodia. Needless to say, this should help you and Ada on your quest!

Everything in the world of Geodia is tied together by Sparklite… it’s the life force of the planet, and the inhabitants have learned how to channel it for their own gain. The blue, glowing ore can be harnessed providing a low-level, rechargeable power source, or it can be consumed for a huge surge of power with grave consequences. Geodia’s self-titled “Baron” has devised a plot to mine the world’s Sparklite core to meet his own ends. Mining Sparklite in large quantities, the Baron repurposes the ore to fuel his powerful war machines, but the pollution from the consumed Sparklite is corrupting the world. Animals have turned into violent monsters, and the environment is rotting away.

The stricken land of Geodia has a natural defense in its Sparklite core. Periodically, the core causes a Disruption which rearranges the world, setting back the Baron’s efforts. Our heroine, Ada, must stop the Baron before he can obtain the core and gain the power to create a new world in which he has ultimate power. A plucky mechanic, Ada will need to use her cunning and skills to defeat the Baron’s henchmen across five distinct zones. Ada will have to work with Geodia’s weird and wonderful inhabitants if she’s to face the Baron and put paid to his deadly plans before it’s too late.
