Gunman Clive HD Collection shooting for Sept 3rd launch on Wii U; to be priced at $3.99 USD!

Wii U release of Freedom Planet delayed; more time needed to fix system lockup bug!

We received some sad news today: Our patch for the Wii U version of Freedom Planet didn’t fix all of the freezing issues. In light of this, we are cancelling our launch for the time being. We’re only going to announce a release date after the game is fixed and free of all issues not present in the PC version.

I understand that some fans out there were already upset at the last delay and that further delays would be the last straw, and to them I can only say that I’m sorry. I do not intend to deliver anything less than a 100% faithful and clean port, regardless of how long it takes.

If any of our new Wii U fans are interested in playing the PC/Mac/Linux version to tide them over, we’ll keep you updated on any sales or bundles we may be involved with in the future. We also have several extra announcements coming later this month including for our planned character DLC, so stay tuned.

We’re sorry again and thank you for your patience!

The Bridge, a 2D logic puzzle game, coming August 20th to the Nintendo Wii U!

The Bridge is coming to consoles this month. It will be available for Xbox One on August 14th, for PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and even Ouya on August 18th, and finally for Wii U on August 20th. So, it just seem likes if you have a console, you’ll most likely be able to play this game in a few days.

For those who have no clue what this game is about, The Bridge is a logic puzzle game in the style of M. C. Escher that forces the player to re-evaluate their preconceptions of physics and perspective. It’s won a few awards during it’s development too.

It was the Best Artwork winner and Best Gameplay nominee at the 2014 Unity Awards, The Escapist’s pick for Best Platformer in 2013, the Best Gameplay winner and Best Art Direction winner at the 2012 Indie Game Challenge, the Grand Prize winner of Microsoft’s Windows Store Unity contest, and an official selection for the PAX 10, IndieCade, the IGF, Microsoft’s Dream.Build.Play, A.MAZE, and several other contests.

Runbow’s crazy breed of colour-based running action has already enlisted the help of the likes of Shovel Knight, Scram Kitty, and CommanderVideo to help in the endless task of running from one place to another, and now that list of indie guests has just grown even larger.

In this exclusive trailer 13AM Games’ frantic 9-player party game shows off nine brand new characters from all across the indie spectrum, namely Gunvolt from Azure Striker Gunvolt, Teslamancer from Teslagrad, Clone from Stealth Inc, ARID from The Fall, Xeodrifter from Xeodrifter, Princess from Chariot, Max from Mutant Mudds, Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter, and Unity Chan (Unity Japan’s mascot character).

Massive Update Brings a Boatload of New Content to Splatoon!

A free software update in the Splatoon game for the Wii U console brings a large amount of new content to the game today, including two new matchmaking modes, new weapon types, an increase to the game’s level cap and more than 40 pieces of new gear. Players will now be able to create a winning strategy and fight to be the best and most battle-tested squid squad around.

The new update introduces Squad Battle and Private Battle matchmaking options. In Squad Battle, players can participate in Ranked Battle rule sets with friends, rather than being teamed up with other players through a random selection. After a player creates a squad, friends can be recruited to form a team of two to four Inklings. Friends will always play together on the same team and battle against other squads at random.

In Private Battle, friends can splat it up in private, customizable matches. Two to eight friends can battle together by selecting their favourite map, mode and weapons. The number of participants ranges from 1v1 to 4v4, but teams don’t have to be even: If the host chooses, he or she can select a 1v4, 1v2, or any other combination of players.

With this robust new update also comes an increased level cap in both Regular Battle and Ranked Battle modes. After downloading the software update, players will be able to reach level 50 (raised from level 20) and rank S and S+ (both higher than A+).

While Inklings around the world are enjoying and mastering the current arsenal of weapons in Splatoon, two new weapon types will be available with the update, adding a new layer of strategy to the game. The bucket-like Slosher weapons hurl ink straight ahead at an impressive range. By adjusting the angle, these new weapons can be used to splat opponents who are up high or even on the other side of a wall. With the Gatling-style Splatling, players can charge blasts of all-powerful ink. A maximum charge unleashes the full potential of this particular weapon type. In addition to the new weapons, more than 40 pieces of gear, including everything from a leather jacket to a sushi-chef costume, are coming to the various in-game shops in Splatoon.

Despite its size and scope, this massive update is not the end of the splat-acular free content coming to Splatoon. Following this update, more content will continually roll out through the rest of the summer and fall, including the Rainmaker Ranked Battle mode, additional maps and new weapons. More details about these additions will be revealed in the future.
