During tonight’s Class vs Crass podcast, Jools Watsham of Renegade Kid was asked by our live audience about Xeodrifter coming to the Wii U.

Jools confirmed that Xeodrifter would be coming to the Wii U, which should be very exciting to fans of Metroid-style games.

He also hinted that there would could be some sort of cross-buy for people who already own the 3DS version of the game.

Jools Watsham from Renegade Kid, the company responsible for fantastic titles such as Mutant Mudds and Xeodrifter, was initially anticipating a June release for Mutant Mudds Super Challenge.

It appears that although development is coming along great for this exciting title, Jools has stated that it looks like the game could be pushed back into a July release.

Some people might be disappointed by this, but I’d rather see a polished game being released a little behind schedule than one being released on time with bugs still in it.

For those having trouble with Mutant Mudds Deluxe, Twinworld has released a series of videos showing how to complete each level!

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge was one of the Nindies shown off during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. Previously announced through the magazine Nintendo Force, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is a sequel to the fantastically retro Mutant Mudds from Renegade Kid.

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge will also feature cross-buy between 3DS and Wii U, and vice versa, giving you double the muddy goodness for the price of one. But wait, there’s more! Those who own the previous Mutant Mudds game receive a loyalty discount as well!

As the title of the game implies, the sequel is going to up the ante in difficulty, which you can see in the gameplay trailer above. Mutant Mudds Super Challenge will be released exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for both Wii U and 3DS this June 2015.
