Paris – September 2^nd, 2021 – Studio Revolution Software, creators of the popular Broken Sword series, and publisher Microids, are delighted to announce that Beyond a Steel Sky will launch November 30 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles and Nintendo Switch.

From Charles Cecil, creator of the Broken Sword series, with art direction by Dave Gibbons, legendary comic book artist behind Watchmen, Beyond A Steel Sky is the spiritual successor to the classic Beneath a Steel Sky, launched more than two decades ago.

Paris – August 27th 2021 – Gamescom 2021 – Microids is delighted to unveil the first trailer for Marsupilami: Hoobadventure!

The three Marsupilamis Punch, Twister and Hope are on their way and will reach your gaming platform of choice November 16th, would it be the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC. Get ready to travel through various environments and jump all over to save the animals from a terrible curse.

About Marsupilami: Hoobadventure

Punch, Twister and Hope are three Marsupilamis living a peaceful life in Palombia. Their lives are about to take a drastic turn when they accidentally open a sarcophagus whilst playing with debris on a beach, releasing a mysterious ghost cursing all the animals! Thankfully, our three Marsupilamis are immune to the curse and decide to set out on an adventure and find the ghost and reverse the curse.

Inspired by the comic book Marsupilami from Franquin, this 2.5D platformer will take you on a colorful journey through the Palombian jungle, a coastal city and even an abandoned temple. Jump, punch, dash and swing with your tail like only Marsupilamis do!

While mainly targeting a younger audience, the most dedicated gamers would be delighted to learn a Time Attack mode will challenge them to finish each level as fast as they can. And for the completionist, a beautiful artwork gallery will be unlocked after collecting hidden feathers and visiting secret dojos.

The Marsupilami is a fictional animal created by André Franquin appearing for the first time in the “Spirou & Fantasio” comic book series. The Marsupilami was so popular it earned its own dedicated hard cover series published by Dupuis.

Paris, August 25^th 2021 – Microids is thrilled to unveil Murder Mystery Machine’s launch trailer and announce that the detective game, developed by studio Blazing Griffin, is now available on PC (Steam), Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

In Murder Mystery Machine, you join the D.C.A., the District Crime Agency. Your mission is to help detectives Cassandra Clarke, the young recruit, and Nate Houston, the jaded detective, solve cases no one else wants to touch. It all begins when politician Frank Daniels is found dead in what looks like a burglary. Our two heroes will soon find themselves involved in a series of complex and interconnected crimes. Will you be up to the challenge and uncover the truth?

You will have to investigate multiple crime scenes putting your analytical and deduction skills to the test. Collect clues, connect evidence, interrogate suspects and find the truth at the heart of your investigation.

About Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All!

Be prepared to prove your bravery! Asterix and Obelix: Slap them All! is set in 50 B.C.E. Gaul, which is entirely occupied by the Romans. Paris, July 20th, 2021 – Microids is thrilled to unveil Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases Developed by Blazing Griffin (Murder Mystery Machine, The Ship: Remasted, Murderous Pursuits…) in collaboration with Agatha Christie Limited, Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases is a detective and adventure game starring a young Hercule Poirot in one of his first cases, before he became the legendary detective we all know and love. Paris, June 5^th, 2021 – During today’s Guerrilla Collective showcase, French publisher Microids unveiled a teaser for its next narrative adventure game: Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo. Developed by Pendulo Studios (Runaway, Yesterday Origins, Blacksad: Under the Skin…), the game will launch at the end of the year on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One consoles and Nintendo Switch. In Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo, dive into a new kind of psychological thriller, and walk on a thin line between reality and fantasy.

Writer Ed Miller came out unscathed from his car crash down into Brody Canyon, California. Even though no one was found inside the car wreckage, Ed insists that he was traveling with his wife and daughter. Traumatized by this event, he begins to suffer from severe vertigo. As he starts therapy, he will try to uncover what really happened on that tragic day.

“Of course, Alfred Hitchcock’s movie was a major inspiration source, whether it’s about the game’s themes, its narration, or even the visual techniques we used that clearly mirror Hitchcock’s recurrent cinematographic techniques” explains Josué Monchan, Narrative Designer at Pendulo Studios. “Vertigo is not our only frame of reference. For instance, the fact that therapy is at the core of the narrative echoes Spellbound, and some characters resemble protagonists from Rebecca, Psycho, and many more.”

Paris, May 26 2021 – Microids and IMPS are thrilled to unveil new information about The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf. Developed by OSome Studio (Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered, Asterix & Obelix XXL 3 – The Crystal Menhir), The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf is a 3D platform/adventure game set in the charming world of the Smurfs. The game will launch worldwide October 25 on PC, PlayStation®4, Xbox One consoles and Nintendo Switch.

In his dark laboratory, the evil wizard Gargamel has discovered a formula allowing him to create a wicked plant, called Vileaf. This plant produces “Viletrap” seeds, which can attract Smurfs and imprison them in vegetal traps! But these Viletrap plants are also a great danger for the forest, as they are highly toxic, especially for the sarsaparilla fields!

In order to fix this dreadful situation, Papa Smurf decided to ask some of his fellow Smurfs to help him find the ingredients for an antidote powerful enough to eradicate the Vileaf once and for all and heal the plants afflicted by this curse. An ace Smurf team, featuring Hefty, Smurfette, Brainy and Chef, goes on an adventure to complete this mission. All of these 4 characters are playable over the course of the game.

In order to help them in their quest, our heroes can rely upon a very handy tool, the Smurfizer, a revolutionary invention from Handy Smurf. The Smurfizer allows the Smurfs to get rid of the foes they encounter, as well as heal the plants afflicted by the Vileaf. This special gear will facilitate our heroes’ exploration journey across the game’s different environments, whether it be in the forest, the swamps or even in the most dangerous place of all: Gargamel’s laboratory!
