Review of Curve Digital’s The Swindle!

Here’s our video review of The Swindle, developed by Size Five Games and published by Curve Digital for the Nintendo Wii U.

The Swindle set to land on the Wii U eShop for Sept 10th!

While browsing through the upcoming eShop releases, I found The Swindle on the list with a release date of September 10th.

The Swindle was created by Size Five Games and is being published by Curve Digital for the Nintendo Wii U.

The Swindle is a steampunk cybercrime caper about breaking into buildings, hacking their systems, stealing all their cash, and quickly running away again before the police show up.

All the buildings you’ll be robbing are randomly-generated, so you’ll never get the same level twice.

Meanwhile, from the safety of your rickety airship up in Outer Space, you can modify your thief with new skills, tools, and all manner of advanced technological horrors, allowing you to take on bigger buildings with better security, for gargantuan rewards!

Have you got what it takes to pull off The Swindle?

Curve Digital announced this morning that they will be bringing Pumped BMX + to a number of home consoles, including Nintendo’s Wii U. The game is an enhanced version of the successful IOS and Android game, Pumped BMX 2. The Wii U version will feature enhanced HD visuals and a brand new soundtrack. The game is slated for release on the eShop some time this summer.

Originally developed by one man studio Yeah Us!, Pumped BMX + will feature an array of levels which gradually increase in difficulty. The game challenges players to complete these levels, all while pulling off the best tricks they can. The game also features leader boards, though Curve has yet to clarify whether these are online or local.

OlliOlli to be offered as a Cross-Buy for Nintendo Wii U & 3DS.

Curve Digital are delighted to announce that their versions of Roll7’s twitch arcade skater, OlliOlli, will utilize a newly available Buy One, Get One Free scheme across the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U systems in all regions globally at release on 5th March.

Curve Digital MD, Jason Perkins, commented: “Curve Digital are known for frequently offering titles on PlayStation’s Cross-Buy scheme, whereby gamers who purchase a Curve title on either PS4/PS3 or Vita will receive the other versions for no added cost. We are always keen to offer these gamer-friendly schemes where possible.”

Working closely with Nintendo, Curve is now able to offer a similar-such scheme globally on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U systems, where a purchase on either system will unlock the other system’s version, available to the same user absolutely free.

For the £7.99/$9.99/€9.99 retail price, Nintendo gamers will be able to purchase OlliOlli on either system and receive both versions unlocked via their Nintendo ID, for the optimum experience whether at home or on the go.

OlliOlli will be available on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShop on March 5th, followed by Xbox One on March 6th.

Curve’s adoption of such a scheme marks another step in the publisher’s ongoing ambitions to continually innovate and push the boundaries of indie console publishing.
