Screencheat: Unplugged Launches for Nintendo Switch!
MELBOURNE, VIC. – Nov. 29, 2018 – Screencheat: Unplugged, a fully remastered and revamped version of Samurai Punk’s chaotic party split-screen first-person shooter where everyone is invisible, is now available for Nintendo Switch™.
Specially tailored for Nintendo’s portable console, Screencheat: Unplugged features a variety of enhancements over the original experience, including a completely revamped vibrant visual design, new and remixed maps, retooled weapons, an original funky soundtrack, and more. The game also supports a variety of control options, including both single and dual Joy-Con™ setups as well as Nintendo Switch Pro Controller support – all with optional gyro-based motion controls.
Take on invisible enemies in split-screen combat where cheating is absolutely necessary. Turning a classic faux pas from old school shooters on its head, players must peek at their opponents’ portions of the screen to locate them against the backdrop of colorful environments brimming with memorable landmarks. Then it’s time to wield wacky one-hit-kill weapons that range from explosive teddy bears to hobby horses to take down the competition.
Keep the party going by playing across 11 levels with nine distinct game modes, including My First Deathmatch, Hillcampers, and Capture the Fun that bring fun new twists to familiar multiplayer formats, while also introducing fresh new experiences like Murder Mystery, a game type where each player must find and destroy a specific target with a specific weapon.
“The Nintendo Switch is an ideal fit for the fun party game experience Screencheat provides” said Nicholas McDonnell, managing director, Samurai Punk. “We’re happy to bring Unplugged to the platform today and hope our longtime fans and new players alike will pass a Joy-Con to their friends and loved ones so everyone can enjoy this new and improved version.”
Screencheat: Unplugged costs $12.99 / €11.99 / £10.79 / A$17.99 via the Nintendo eShop. The game features English, French, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, and Korean language options with Simplified Chinese and Japanese being added in an upcoming patch.

TOKYO, JAPAN – Nov. 29, 2018 – Gensokyo Defenders, the blistering shoot-em-up tower defense game from Sony publishing label UNTIES and developer Neetpia, blasts onto Nintendo Switch today.
