Verlet Swing brings surreal fever dream grapple-hook action to consoles this June!
31 May, 2019 – Indie publisher Digerati and developer Flamebait Games are excited to announce that the surreal grapple-hook adventure Verlet Swing is coming soon to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The first-person platformer will be releasing on 11/12 June for PlayStation 4 (NA/EU respectively) and 14 June for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
In recognition of Verlet Swing’s streamer-friendly qualities, Mixer interactions have been added exclusively to the Xbox One version, allowing viewers to affect a streamer’s game as it’s being broadcast. We’ll share more details on this soon.
“As a team we were passionate about creating a game with super tight yet simple mechanics,” explains Flamebait Games CEO, Mattias Lindblad. “With Verlet Swing we proudly deliver an experience which we believe has a fantastic game feel.”
Already available on Steam, where it’s earned an impressive 9/10 user rating, Verlet Swing’s unique mix of swinging action and vaporwave aesthetic has attracted attention from some of gaming’s superstar streamers. Markiplier likened the game to “Spider-Man zip-zapping around New York City… but also tripping balls on LSD,” while Jacksepticeye mostly swore excitedly and screamed “Wheeeeeeeeee!” a lot.

Acclaimed action-strategy card-game hybrid Golem Gates is out now on Nintendo Switch!
Austin, Texas, USA – 31 May, 2019 – Indie publisher Digerati, in collaboration with developer Laser Guided Games, have today released Golem Gates on Xbox One (and as a full 4K gaming experience on Xbox One X) and Nintendo Switch; following its release on PlayStation 4 a couple of days ago.
Golem Gates is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi blend of action-strategy and card battler, pitting your conjured armies against otherworldly forces. An ancient threat surges from the Golem Gates, and only the Harbinger stands guard. Wielding the nanite-infused power of The Ash, you must protect a world ravaged by ancient wars. Choose from 100 cards (known as Glyphs) and unleash diverse units, buildings, buffs, and more in tactical combat across single player, co-op, and online multiplayer.
Randomized drawing and quick unit placement means you’ll have to adapt on the fly as you formulate your strategy. Add more forces to a battle to turn the tide, transform a scouting party into an army, place emergency defenses to respond to the enemy, or hide an outpost in a direction the enemy doesn’t expect. The choices are yours, but beware: the enemy will do the same and with the right Glyph your forces can be destroyed as fast as they were created.
“With a great title like Golem Gates we wanted to create the best possible version for consoles,” said Nick Alfreri, Digerati Director. “Now you can enjoy Laser Guided Games’ vision in 1080p, full 4K or on go as Golem Gates has been fully optimised for every console and it’s individual capabilities.”
“We are so pleased that Golem Gates is now available on consoles. We’ve poured everything into Golem Gates so we can’t wait to see how consoles gamers take to this version of the game,” said the game’s creator, Matt Oelfke.

Super Cane Magic ZERO’s Hilarious Journey Starts Today on Nintendo Switch!
SEOUL, South Korea – May 30, 2019 – Super Cane Magic ZERO, the co-op comedy action RPG from developer Studio Evil and publisher Intragames, is out now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam via Windows PC, Mac, and Linux across the Americas and Europe.
Created in collaboration with the Italian comic book artist and animator Simone “Sio” Albrigi, Super Cane Magic ZERO features an array of characters from Sio’s popular YouTube cartoon channel Scottecs. A special coloring book created in conjunction with Sio is available from the official Super Cane Magic ZERO website.
Things look bad for the planetoid of WOTF, after Cake the Wizard died and his magic dog AAAH! freaked out. The Internet is down, the Moon is coated in chocolate, and a terrible army of vegetables has sprouted from the ground and is wreaking havoc to the plains of Minestronya. Bring back the natural disorder of things across the 20+ hours campaign, featuring handcrafted and randomly generated dungeons. Find gear, eat bombs, crawl ridiculous dungeons and kill all the vegetables!
During your adventure, you will stumble upon tons of different and strange items: watermelons, sausages, lightbulbs, lava cakes, rocks, explosives, and other delicacies. Every time you pick up an object you’ll have to decide if you are in need of a weapon or a meal. Experiment by throwing or eating everything that is not nailed to the ground, and you will learn what each item can do for you.
Super Cane Magic ZERO’s strange journey can be enjoyed solo or up to 4 players in local co-op with dynamic difficulty that adapts to the party’s size. Eight competitive arenas also await to host local PvP battles among friends.
“Since I was a kid I dreamed of writing stories, drawing stuff, creating music and video games,” said Simone “Sio” Albrigi, YouTube cartoonist. “With Super Cane Magic ZERO I was able to do all these things together!”
Super Cane Magic ZERO is currently discounted 10% during its launch week via the North American PlayStation Store and Steam, where it graduates today from Early Access to full release. Nintendo Switch players who purchase the game in the first month will receive a free Secret Bonus Content DLC pack, which includes the Bouncy Bombers PvP arena as well as platform-exclusive chests and loot in the Underground Archives. A patch for Nintendo Switch is currently en route.
Console versions feature English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese language options. On Steam, the game also supports Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, and Korean language support. Studio Evil plans to host the title on the Utomik subscription platform and Intragames will publish the console versions across Asia later this year.

SANTA ANA, California, May 28, 2019 — Nicalis, Inc. today announced that Crystal Crisis, the cute and chaotic new color-matching combat game, is available now on Nintendo Switch. Developed and published by Nicalis, Crystal Crisis is an all-new head-to-head puzzle-battle throwdown: Players arrange falling Crystals into matching colors and shatter them to attack their opponents.
Crystal Crisis players can choose from 20 different combatants, including Nicalis favorites like Quote and Curly from Cave Story and Isaac from The Binding of Isaac, in addition to special guests like Astro Boy and Black Jack from Tezuka Productions. Each character has his or her own “home” stage, musical theme, voice-acted exclamations and special moves called “Bursts.” Players will need to build up their character’s Burst Gauge before they can deliver a powerful Attack Burst or rearrange their own Crystal grid with a Defense Burst.
