BATTLLOON Lands Today On Nintendo Switch!
TOKYO – Feb. 28, 2019 – BATTLLOON, the balloon-battling party game from Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) publishing label UNTIES and developer noname studio pops on to Nintendo Switch and Steam today.
Dodge starving fish, pointy volcanic rocks and meteor showers out to burst balloons’ bubbles. Navigate treacherous terrain and inflate to bump out the competition. Knock frenemies into spiked walls to be the last balloon floating. Defeated foes come back as ghosts to haunt – and hunt – their rivals for victory points and can still steal the crown.
Colorful, dynamic arenas host a high-stakes contest of skill where each bouncy warrior leverages passive hero abilities to their advantage. Puffer grows larger than others and becomes hardest to budge at the cost of mobility. Lightweight Birdie Jay zips around the arena but easy to push around. Each fighter brings something to the field suited to different playstyles.
Hopping chiptunes and retro-style pixel battlegrounds complete BATTLLOON’s deceptively whimsical aesthetic. Enter multiplayer arenas for up to four players filled with giggles and leave as ferocious champions hungry for more.
“BATTLLOON’s look and feel pull from the aesthetic of classic games, but its gameplay is modern and pulls people right in,” said John Davis, G&R Representative, UNTIES. “It’s a great game for bringing friends together in the spirit of friendly competition.”
BATTLLOON is available via Nintendo Switch eShop and Steam for $6.99, supporting English and Japanese languages for two to four players locally.

Ragnarök Approaches in Nordic Action-Adventure Fimbul Today on Nintendo Switch!
MUNICH, COPENHAGEN, February 28th, 2019 – Fimbul, the Norse comic action-adventure from EuroVideo’s publishing label Wild River and Danish developer Zaxis Games, releases today on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
Though colder seasons begin to drift away in real life’s Northern Hemisphere, in the world of the aging berserker Kveldulver, the worst of winter is yet to come. The dreaded Fimbulwinter, a three-year period of deathly cold that serves as the harbinger of the frozen Norse apocalypse known as Ragnarök, is here.
After a raid on Kveldulver’s village leaves him mortally wounded, the Norns, female beings who rule the destiny of gods and men, pluck him from the afterlife. The berserker embarks on a divine quest to end the Fimbulwinter, defeat the giant Jotun, and claim bloody vengance.
As Ragnarök approaches, Kveldulver meets a motley crew of characters both friend and foe. While some join him on his journey, others have to be defeated in battle before their fate can be determined. Thanks to the Norns, the protagonist’s thread of life can be traced back anytime to change Kveldulver’s decisions and alter the course of his story.
Fimbul’s tale is told through a striking comicbook style punctuating intense battles against both man and beast. Combat is intuitive so anyone can pick it up and play, but nuanced systems allow for skilled players to become ever stronger. Exploring the world offers lore for story-hungry players as well as ways to improve the old warrior’s fighting prowess. Specific items and skills strengthen Kveldulver and improve his odds of surviving, especially against fearsome bosses.
Fimbul is available for digital download on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam for $19.99.

HumaNature Announces Macaulay Culkin as Executive Producer of ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!
SAN FRANCISCO – February 26, 2019 – ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!, the upcoming fourth entry of the beloved, funkadelic action roguelike series from HumaNature Studios, brings a new present for its fans, with the addition of actor and musician Macaulay Culkin as the game’s newest executive producer.
Culkin, an outspoken fan of the franchise, named the original 1991 Sega Genesis ToeJam & Earl as his favorite game during a Reddit “Ask Me Anything”, included the pair on a parody of the March Madness Mega Bracket as a favorite to win, and Tweeted he’d rather play it than watch the 2018 Oscars.
With more than three decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Culkin started the comedy brand Bunny Ears in 2017 as a digital outlet to express his unconventional thoughts on everything pop culture related through hilarious articles and podcasts with fascinating guests.
Now The Incredible Culk and his team are debuting Bunny Ears Games with ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!. Bunny Ears’ wry wit and penchant for satire provided crucial input to ensure the game is a hella good time. Growing up playing the original game on Sega Genesis, Culkin knew exactly what would – and wouldn’t – appeal to the thousands of Kickstarter backers that funded the sequel.
Says Culkin, “I’m honored to be producing the new ToeJam & Earl because it is literally my favorite video game of all time. Plus, Greg Johnson is the tits!”
Back in the Groove! debuts on March 1 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam for Windows PC and Mac, bringing humans’ favorite funky aliens back to our planet. The iconic duo tries to inconspicuously borrow the Rapmaster Rocket to show off to Latisha and Lewanda. One press of the wrong button causes a black hole incident that leaves them with a broken ship, stranded on Earth. Find parts to rebuild the ship, deal with those weirdo Earthlings, and get back home.
“ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove is a ‘90s styled blast from the past.” Said Greg Johnson, founder of Humanature Studios. “Macaulay Culkin, the star of the ‘90s classic Home Alone is an Uber Fan of the ToeJam games. He totally gets the vibe and humor of the new game, and his involvement has made the game even crazier and more fun.”
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove will be available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), and Brazilian Portuguese for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Mac via Steam for $19.99 USD on March 1.
