Tag-Team Racer Gensou Skydrift Zips onto Nintendo Switch Today!
TOKYO – Dec. 12, 2019 – Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) publishing label UNTIES and the team at illuCalab, including a former Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8DX developer, drop the spell-slinging tag-team racer Gensou SkyDrift onto Nintendo Switch and Steam for Windows PC today. A PlayStation 4 version will race to the finish line in Q1 2020.
Choose two of 20 characters, each with her own drive handling stats and power ups, to ride on each other’s backs as driver and vehicle. Swap between them on the fly to glide through the twists and turns of the tracks and wield the right spell at the perfect moment to lap the competition.
Each character’s exclusive deck of spell cards is packed with abilities based on her traditional Touhou Project traits. Zip through hoops on the track to boost speed and gain mana. Drawing spell cards at full mana pulls more powerful spells capable of slowing down opponents’ speed, shooting around corners to hit dodging rivals, or jumping into the air on the back of the wind to avoid obstacles.
Navigate more than 15 tracks, each featuring a stunning view of Gensokyo, including paths filled with cherry blossom trees and a nighttime course with beautiful views of the realm’s skyline. Be the first to cross the finish line against computer-controlled opponents in Story or Time Attack modes, or face up to seven other teams online or locally in Versus mode.
“GENSOU Skydrift brings rare depth to the genre because players can take advantage of the huge range of possible character pairings,” said John Davis, G&R Representative, UNTIES. “With dozens of combos, there’s a playstyle for everyone from casual to hardcore, and the best players will hone down favorite combos for each and every track.”
GENSOU Skydrift is a fan-made entry in the Guiness World Record holding Touhou project, available today on Steam for Windows PC and Nintendo Switch for the regular price of $23.99 USD/€ 21.99. A 20% launch discount will be available across all Nintendo eShop regions until Dec. 31; Steam’s sale runs through Dec. 19. It supports English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).

Hip-hop RPG Orangeblood Hits the Switch in Q2 2020!
TOKYO – Jan. 14, 2019 – Orangeblood, a JRPG inspired by 90s hip-hop, will take over PC on Jan. 14, 2019. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One releases will roll up on 20-inch rims in Q2 2020.
Publisher PLAYISM and developer Grayfax Software invite gangstas to an alternate history of late 20th century Japan where criminal syndicates rule the man-made island of New Koza. Guide Vanilla, a prisoner of a gang war offered her freedom in exchange for completing a top-secret mission shrouded in mystery. Vanilla will build a crew of tenacious-yet-cute companions to help earn her liberty, and mayhem as well as sweet loot drops ensue.
Loot the best randomly generated guns and armor-boosting kicks a criminal can find, including legendary equipment featuring one-of-a-kind abilities. Take the “pray” out of “spray,” reloading tactically to keep your defenses up and using special abilities to mow down foes. New Koza is full of mobsters, robots, and other threats, but a quick stop at a vending machine will refresh your party before the next gun-blazing battle.
Groove along to the hip-hop soundtrack in and out of combat. Handcrafted character sprites feature a pixelated aesthetic matching the era of the music. Jump into gun-toting action that stays fresh as the random gear system, art style, and soundtrack play off of each other.
“I wanted to make an immersive story with g-funk tunes where the only things that matter are your guns, sweet shoes, and the good times you have with them,” said Grayfax, sole developer of Orangeblood. “Randomly generated gear means each encounter can be just as unpredictable as the island of New Koza itself, but the good times will be guaranteed.”
Orangeblood will be available on Steam in Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese for $19.99 USD/€19.99.

Dec 10 — Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase has just featured Liberated among its hand-picked, gloriously innovative indie titles coming to Nintendo Switch!
It’s official: Liberated will be coming to Nintendo Switch first in 2020.

Knowing which battles are worth fighting, and where to draw the line between revolution and terrorism, has never been more paramount.
It’s an honor to be chosen by Nintendo for the Indie World Showcase!
With their support we’re excited to announce that Liberated will be coming in 2020 giving us more precious time and space to refine the experience and perfect its message.
The Switch-first release will shortly be followed on PC via Steam and GOG.
