Sydney Hunter and the Caverns of Death $4k away from hitting Wii U stretch goal; 8 days left for campaign!

Last week we posted an article regarding the Sydney Hunter kickstarter being $10k away from getting a Wii U stretch goal.

After checking the campaign status today, Sydney Hunter is stating that it’s under $4k away from reaching the Wii U stretch goal!

With only 8 days to go on this campaign, there’s a good chance that the stretch goal can still be reached.

Sydney Hunter and the Caverns of Death is a new retro-style adventure/puzzle platformer for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and now Nintendo Entertainment System. Armed only with his trusty boomerang, Sydney must navigate dark caverns while avoiding bats, ghosts, hot lava and other obstacles. If you can survive all 10 caverns, you will be able to win your freedom. Your support for this Kickstarter campaign will help bring a new game to one of the most beloved systems of all time…the SNES. You also have an opportunity to receive some cool rewards available exclusively through this Kickstarter campaign.

This game looks quite fun based on the kickstarter video. The art is fantastic and the development team appears to have done a great job so far. Hopefully enough people back this so we can get a Wii U release as well, which is at the $35,000 point.

There campaign has reached over $25,000 with 15 days to go, so there’s under $10,000 to go for this stretch goal!
