Battle Hunters Launch Date Moves to Early November for Nintendo Switch!

Melbourne, Australia – October 20th 2020 – Independent developer Phase Two Games today announced that their squad-based fantasy adventure RPG Battle Hunters is now moving to a slightly later launch date. The new tentative street date  for PC and Nintendo Switch is November 5th.

“The old adage that time waits for no man is certainly true in our case, we wanted to synchronize the final submission phase and release efforts and felt we needed a little more time to coordinate that,” said Toby Charlton, Co-Founder of Phase Two Games.

With a more strategic approach to combat through a combination of turn-based and real-time action, Battle Hunters gives players the opportunity to build a uniquely skilled team of 3 adventurers ready for action. With a roster of 28 unique hero characters to discover and choose from, including the Wizard, the Barbarian, the Rogue or the cursed Dreadknight – Battle Hunters provides a huge variety of choice when deciding who to bring to the fight.

Developer Walkthrough Video for Squad-Based RPG Battle Hunters!

Melbourne, Australia – September 22nd, 2020 – Independent developer Phase Two Games today revealed more about their squad-based fantasy adventure RPG Battle Hunters which launches on PC and Nintendo Switch on October 20th. Battle Hunters lets players form an adventurer party of 3, chosen from a line-up of 28 unique hero characters who are met and recruited along the journey. Be it the Wizard, the Gunslinger, the Assassin, or any other hero, each has their own specialized fighting skills and unique abilities that players can level up and enhance along the way.

Ahead of its October launch a playable demo of the game will be available on PC courtesy of the Steam Game Festival Autumn Edition taking place between the 7th and 13th October.

Squad-Based RPG Battle Hunters Coming Oct 20th to Nintendo Switch!

Ahead of its October launch a playable demo of the game will be available on PC courtesy of the Steam Game Festival Autumn Edition taking place between the 7th and 13th October.

Players will command a team of 3 adventurous heroes, plunging headlong into dungeons, caves, forests and swamps as they heed the call for help from the mysterious ‘Old One’. This will not be an easy quest by any means; a vast array of beastly adversaries and monstrous villains will impede your journey across several different regions of the kingdom. Fear not though, for many mighty heroes stand ready to join the adventure as your valiant trio takes the fight to the forces of darkness.

Melbourne, Australia – August 25th, 2020 – Independent developer Phase Two today announced that their squad-based RPG Battle Hunters will be bringing some classic fantasy adventure plus innovative tactical combat to PC and Nintendo Switch in October.

The Kingdom is in Danger and the oldest and wisest wizard stands alone, the last bastion of hope, struggling to keep a nameless villain at bay. Players will command a team of 3 plucky adventurers, plunging headlong into dungeons, caves, forests and swamps as they heed the call for help from the old one.

A huge variety of beastly adversaries and monstrous villains will impede your quest, hellbent on your party’s destruction as you make your way across different regions of the kingdom. Yet mighty heroes also stand ready to join the fight as your valiant band takes on the forces of darkness. From the Great Forest, inhabited by devious goblins and lumbering trolls, to the high Cliffs of Desolation, where vicious gargoyles and unstoppable stone golems await you.

Battle Hunters offers a unique and intuitive combat system that combines strategic command of your heroes with a combination of turn-based and real-time action. Combat takes place with melee and ranged characters, armed with all manner of swords, spells, blades and blasters. Heroes can be upgraded, swapped around, and mixed and matched to tailor make a party, giving you a better fighting chance. Locked chests and barrels of food provide plenty of loot to keep your pockets full of gold and your heroes well-fed. Mini quests provide short-term objectives while also driving the overall narrative forward.
