TOKYO – June 5, 2021 – Mighty Goose, the over the top, run-and-gun, titled goose game, developed by Blastmode and MP2 Games and published by PLAYISM, begins its utter destruction of PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility today.

Waddle, run, and gun through nine destructive levels clearing out high fidelity pixel art enemy bases so intergalactic nature can finally heal. Rescue animal companions like Regular Duck to aid in combat with different and strategy-changing abilities like the Sprint Boots and Chonker Bombs.

The leader of team Mighty Goose is Mighty Goose, but his friends refer to him as Goose. As a professional avian space stalker, rivals are always bound to rear their ugly beaks, like fellow fowl Raven. The villainous Void King sends Raven and his army to imprison Goose’s animal friends in Void bases and take out the belligerently blaring bounty hunter for good.

Nothing can stop the chaotic and fun tones of Mighty Goose paying homage to and poking fun at beloved run-and-gunners of old. Expressive pixel art by Richard Lems (KUNAI) and a fist wing-pumping, high-energy soundtrack by Dominic Ninmark (Blazing Chrome) set a standard of quality for goose games everywhere that goose fans will remember for the ages.

5 June, 2021 – Publisher Big Sugar and developer Glowfish Interactive are delighted to announce Trifox for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is scheduled to launch Q1 2022.

An action-adventure with a variety of ways to play, Trifox‘s titular hero is a fox on a mission… to retrieve his stolen TV remote! A multi-talented mammal, Trifox can use the skills of a trio of different character types – Warrior, Mage, and Engineer. Each has its own unique set of class-based abilities and these can be mixed-and-matched, allowing players to create a wily protagonist with a tailor-made moveset.

The debut title from Belgium-based developer, Glowfish Interactive, Trifox has already been attracting attention. It was nominated as ‘Most Anticipated Game’ at the Belgian Game Awards, received honorable mentions at the Unfold Games Awards for ‘Best Level Design’ and ‘Best Character Design’, and was awarded a ‘Seal of Approval’ after being selected to participate in Yogscast’s Tiny Teams event.

Full-time development on Trifox started in 2019, although as Glowfish co-founder and developer Emiel De Paepe explains, the project has always been part of the studio’s plans:

“We had the first idea that led to Trifox in 2014, after we started the company and were figuring out what we wanted to do. The game back then was much more combat centric, with less focus on the adventure itself,” says De Paepe.

“Over time it grew as we added elements inspired by a bunch of games we loved while growing up, such as Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter. Our aim is to bring the same joy to Trifox that people experienced when playing those kinds of games when they were younger.”

About the game

Trifox is a colourful and cartoonish action-adventure featuring a phenomenal fox with a multitude of talents! After his home is attacked and his TV remote stolen, Trifox sets out in pursuit of the mysterious looters in an action-packed adventure inspired by the golden age of 3D platformers. Use magic, might, and marvelous gadgets to outfox foes across four danger-filled worlds as you fight your way to a final showdown at Villain HQ!

The retail editions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 will be available for €39.99 / $39.99 / £34.99 and include the original Monster World IV exclusively. The game is available at all major retail stores in North America and Europe.

A wildly colourful and exuberant 2D action-platformer, Berserk Boy is the premiere title from developer BerserkBoy Games, and introduces players to Kei, aka Berserk Boy, a young hero who has the power to change into multiple elemental forms.

Berserk Boy has an authentic, lovingly crafted retro aesthetic with a visual style influenced by the classic look of Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games, and is headlined by a pounding 16-bit soundtrack from Sonic Mania composer, Tee Lopes. Tight platforming, gorgeously illustrated cut-scenes, a variety of play-styles, and a rewarding upgrade system ensures Berserk Boy offers a fresh, enjoyable experience for new and veteran players.

In development since late 2019, Berserk Boy is the first project to come from the aptly named, BerserkBoy Games. A six-strong global collective, the team is spread across Japan, United States, Indonesia, and the UK.
