Stuttgart, Germany – 20 October 2022 – Strictly Limited Games, in partnership with TAITO, announce that DARIUSBURST CS CORE + TAITO/SEGA Pack will get an exclusive physical release with a Limited Edition, a Collector’s Edition, and a digital release for Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for this legendary shoot ‘em up start on Sunday, October 23th, at 12 AM CEST (midnight), only at strictlylimitedgames.com. Digital pre-orders start on October 20th.

Pilot one of 15 ships into battle against hordes of enemies in this arcade style shooting game! In DARIUSBURST CS CORE you have to fight your way through relentless waves of enemies and huge, aquatic-lifeform-modelled battleships over numerous different stages. With the help of your burst laser, try to beat the boss at the end of each stage and get the highest score.

Choose CS Mode and leap into a space opera spanning the franchise’s history, battling the Belsar across a galaxy featuring new, exclusive stages and story! Or jump into the DLC mode and pilot ships from iconic Sega and TAITO franchises in specially arranged stages!

The DARIUSBURST CS CORE + TAITO/SEGA PACK contains the CS and DLC Modes from the previously released DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours on PS4, Vita and Steam. This packaged version includes the whole history of the DARIUS Saga and will only appear on Nintendo Switch.

A vertically scrolling shooter released into arcades in 1994. Targeting multiple enemies with the lock on laser was the key to mastering this game.

Space Harrier / Harrier (SEGA)

Harrier the warrior uses his super blaster in his adventures from the all-time classic Sega shooting game.

Galaxy Force II / TRY-Z (SEGA)

Sega’s ultimate “body-sensing” game. The Super Deluxe Type cabinet wowed players with its movement: 15 degrees up or down and 335 degrees to both the right or left..

Fantasy Zone / OPA-OPA (SEGA)

DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ is a new revision of DariusBurst AC and comes with gorgeous 3D graphics in the most compelling and challengingly awesome adventure yet, with this update to the arcade classic. The evolution of this top notch brand continues and it is now 10 years since the original version and the original team, which is focused and highly motivated, has ensured this offers something really special.

In DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+, within the unique oceanic-themed designed setting, players need to learn how to make use of the ship’s cannons’ multifunctional utility, which opens up whole new tactical combat possibilities! Not only is the Burst Beam a weapon that dramatically alters the tide in combat, it also doubles up as a shield against enemy fire when under attack. Explosive action, fantastic and detailed subterranean settings, inventive combat challenges and mesmerizing boss attacks are presented.

Utilising an ultra-broad aspect ratio, the sea-life panorama is a visual feast that features classical style Sci-Fi spaceships and enemies, but also sees players encounter deep-sea creatures re-imagined as mechanical battleships which is a great mix of Sci-Fi and deep-sea creatures.

The panorama settings are enhanced by a great soundtrack from TAITO’s in-house sound team Zuntata that amplifies the adrenaline-filled atmosphere with powerful beats and emotional tunes infused with Japanese instruments and underwater sampling!

Stuttgart, 12th May 2021 – TAITO and ININ Games are proud to announce DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ will be released both physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation 4 for Europe and North America this summer. DariusBurst Another Chronicle EX+ is a new revision of DariusBurst AC and comes with gorgeous 3D graphics.

It’s now 10 years since the original version and the original team, which is highly motivated, is still proudly working together on this version. The DariusBurst series started in 2009 on PSP, and was then greatly expanded upon with additional features and improved graphics for the 2010 arcade release. The game is developed by Pyramid Inc. and will not only include features of the arcade version of “Another Chronicle EX”, but there will also be new features like a replay mode and new missions.

Prepare to burst with power

The Burst Beam brings a new, strategic dynamic into the game and changes the battles dramatically. The screen-filling laser shoots powerful blasts or can be locked into a certain position and be used as a shield against enemy fire. Asteroids and enemy fire are replenishing the shield, which gives the player the opportunity to hide behind it for quite some time. A big advantage in boss battles!

Deep sea Sci-Fi setting

One of the series’ most iconic features is the unique oceanic-themed design of enemy bosses. Inspired by a mix of Sci-Fi and deep-sea creatures, embodied as large mechanical battleships, they can be admired in all the graphical glory of DariusBurst: Another Chronicle EX+!

The screen is ultra-broad, modelled after the dual-display of the arcade version creating a fantastic sight into the marine-themed setting.
