Shape of the World Out Tomorrow On Nintendo Switch!
VANCOUVER, Canada (June 5, 2018) — Without you, will the forest still come alive? Kickstarted in 2015, Shape of the World – the upcoming psychedelic first-person explorer from developer Hollow Tree Games – is now available on PlayStation 4 and Steam. The Nintendo Switch and Xbox One version will be available tomorrow.
The world that grows around you…The environment and flora continuously flourish and fade as you wander in Shape of the World, a serene and surreal first-person explorer. You’ll travel through dream-like forests, aquatic caves and peaceful shores accompanied by psychedelic wildlife. No ticking clock or hidden perils laying in wait will prevent you from enjoying your journey… Experience a couple of hours escape from work, anxiety and stress.
“Seeing Shape of the World finally available for everyone is very exciting” said Hollow Tree Games’ founder Stu Maxwell. He also works as a senior VFX artist for The Coalition, the studio behind Gears Of War 4. “It has been my personal project for the past 4 years, I can’t wait to see how people will interact with the game. Probably a whole lot differently from what I had in mind!”
About Shape of the World
Shape of the World casts you as an outsider experiencing a surreal world that reacts to your presence. Journey through vibrant ecosystems that spring to life with psychedelic colours, splashing waterfalls, luminous monoliths and graceful creatures. A realm that leaves you free to progress at your own pace, without the incessant ticking of the clock. Find yourself pleasantly lost as you summit mountains, fly with whales, raise precipitous boardwalks and slide swiftly to new and ever stranger environments.
Game features:
- First-person explorer: Unwind as you wander at your own pace in surreal environments that beckon you to explore, hinting at distant landmarks and encouraging you to delve deeper into the woods.
- 4K support: Enjoy the experience in native 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
- Play with an organic and mysterious ecosystem: Interact with graceful animals, ephemeral flora, and intriguing monoliths. Your actions will alter the world you discover in vibrant and unexpected ways, leaving you to wonder what will happen with each new path you forge, each abandoned hollow you stumble upon.
- A living world: The forest only materializes as you move through it, and regrows anew as you pass through areas you’ve previously explored. The handcrafted world offers you landmarks and familiar terrain to guide you through to the end of your trip.
- A dynamic soundtrack that responds to the player’s travels: The audio shifts along with the visuals, providing an enveloping aural experience to match your psychedelic journey and amplify your immersion.

Just Shapes & Beats is out now on Nintendo Switch!
May 31, 2018 – Five years in the making, Berzerk Studio has finally done it! The game is now available on the NA eShop and Steam on May 31st for $19.99 USD / £15.49 GBP / €16,79 EUR / 22.79$ CAD.
Unfortunately, Just Shapes & Beats will release on the EU and JP eShop a little later, on June 11th for everyone looking for a game to play while watching those long E3 conferences.
Just Shapes & Beats is a chaotic co-op musical bullet-hell based on three simple things: avoid Shapes, move to the kick-ass Beats, and die, repeatedly.
It’s a new spin on the SHMUP genre, adding a layer of cooperation that’s at the core of the game: because everything is better with friends. Play alone or with up to four players, local or online, through the game’s Story Mode or Challenge Runs.
You like music? SO. DO. WE. That’s why we have 35 hand crafted stages with licensed tracks from over 20 chiptune and EDM artists.
Multiplayer Mode
Gather up your squad and play up to 4 player co-op, drop-in drop-out, either all on your couch for a house party, or an online party!
Don’t have/like your friends? Make new friends by playing a few quick online challenge runs. Let us pick your new buds for the next hours; strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet.
Story Mode
The Story mode helps you learn the ropes with more accessible tracks and an optional casual gameplay mode. When you think you’re ready, Challenge Runs is where you get to prove yourself: get judged on your skills by playing through randomly picked tracks.
Need some kind of training montage to get better? Rip your sleeves off and practice the tracks you’re struggling to master in the Playlist.
Party Mode
Let the game play in Party Mode and light up your social gatherings, + you can even have people playing those cool party stages while the music plays if they’re into that, because WE’VE THOUGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING. So yeah, go ahead and throw the most epic party of your life thanks to us–you’re welcome.

Lightwood Games Release Giant Puzzles 2 DLC For Pic-a-Pix Deluxe on Nintendo Switch!
This pack contains 30 new puzzles in the largest sizes: 30×20 and 35×25.
Giant Puzzles 2 was previously available as DLC for the Wii U version of the game, but players who previously enjoyed the game on Nintendo 3DS will not have had chance to play these puzzles before – they were just too large to fit on screen on 3DS!
The pack is priced USD $2.99 or GBP £2.99.
We have seen quite a bit of interest for more of these larger puzzles on Nintendo Switch, so we are hoping to include more Giant packs as we continue to support this game with new monthly DLC.
