Keen – One Girl Army Slays Evil Hordes June 25th on Nintendo Switch!

TOKYO – May 26, 2020 – Keen – One Girl Army, the tactical turn-based puzzle adventure from publisher Phoenixx and developer Cat Nigiri, will skate and slash onto Nintendo Switch™ as well as Steam for Windows and Mac on Thursday June 25, 2020.

Strap on a pair of roller skates, hoist a razor-sharp sword and prepare to slice through more than 20 enemy types including zombies, robots and ninjas. Navigate sprawling maze-like dungeons set in mysterious forests, top-secret underwater labs, orbital military outposts and other exotic locations filled with challenging bosses. Help the heroine Kim save her village.

Hailing from a lineage of female warriors, Kim’s island home is in peril. A corporation’s insidious expansion plans threaten to bring 500 years of peace to an end, with only Kim’s lightning-fast reflexes and weapons standing in the way.

Earn gadgets and powerups making her a true one girl army able to teleport past blockades, stun groups of foes, trap enemies and eradicate any obstacle along the way. Skate through ten enigmatic regions depicted in a cute but creepy art style, from the village Kim leaves behind through the Forest of Illusions on the way to the big city.

“Kim comes from a remote island, and her journey to take on the final boss at the enemy’s headquarters will take her through many strange and imaginative areas,” said Caio Lopez, founder of Cat Nigiri. “Keen – One Girl Army layers combat, movement and puzzle design on top of each other to create an experience where you don’t go back and forth between the elements, but instead get to think about all of them at once.”

Keen – One Girl Army will be available on Nintendo Switch and Steam for Windows and Mac on June 25 for $15.99 USD. It will support English, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese.

Metroidvania Necrosphere Deluxe Reaches Switch Checkpoint Today!

FLORIANÓPOLIS, Brazil – Jan. 31, 2019 – Necrosphere Deluxe, the retro adventure-platformer with minimalist controls from Sony publishing label UNTIES and developer Cat Nigiri, brings its pink unitard and super jetpack to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita today. An Xbox One version will follow suit in Q1 2019.

Secret agent Terry Cooper wasn’t expecting to get shot during his latest mission, much less awaken in the Necrosphere, the realm where all souls go before they can permanently rest in peace. Now, not quite dead and lost in a place bursting with obstacles threatening to kill him for good.

Cooper dodges sizzling fire curtains, deadly spikes and more devious traps as he searches for a way back to the Normalsphere. Frequent checkpoints mean each respawn puts him straight back into action, where Cooper can learn–or die again–from his mistakes. Gravity bubbles and powerful jetpacks help him to reach new heights and collect items on his two-buttons adventure.

Now with improved graphics, optimized performance and additional languages, Necrosphere Deluxe is a delightfully challenge for fans of metroidvanias and platformers alike.

“Necrosphere Deluxe is a metroidvania dished out in bite-sized segments, perfect for swift respawning without losing any progress,” said Caio Lopez, founder of Cat Nigiri. “Using minimalistic controls and 16-bit style artwork we were able to create a fantastically demanding experience that will deliver fond nostalgic memories to old-school gamers.”

Necrosphere Deluxe is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows and Mac via Steam for $7.99 in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.

Two-Button Metroidvania Necrosphere Deluxe Lands Jan 31st on Nintendo Switch!

FLORIANÓPOLIS, Brazil – Jan. 17, 2019 – Necrosphere Deluxe, the retro adventure-platformer with minimalist controls from Sony publishing label UNTIES and indie studio Cat Nigiri, will dodge deadly spikes to land safely on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on Jan. 31, 2019. It will elude flying fireballs and duck onto Xbox One in Q1 2019.

When super-secret agent Terry Cooper dies on a failed mission, he awakens in The Necrosphere. This afterlife is bursting at the seams with dangerous obstacles, devious traps and deadly enemies all working together to stop Terry from escaping. Soar to new heights with a jetpack, bounce sky high off gravity bubbles, and collect game-changing items, all while utilizing an intuitive two button control scheme, to return to the Normalsphere.

Frequent respawn points drop Terry right back into action, allowing him to quickly learn from his mistakes and re-tackle the challenges of the Necrosphere. Even with his partners sending him messages from the Normalsphere to guide his journey, he’ll need to make the most of his abilities to escape the Necrosphere and stop the Istanistani from carrying out their evil plans.

“We designed Necrosphere Deluxe to challenge the masters of super-hard platformers while being approachable for people new to the genre,” said Caio Lopez, founder of Cat Nigiri. “Necrosphere Deluxe’s simple controls and bite-sized but devilish trials will help new players improve their skills while simultaneously presenting hardcore platformer fans with the most difficult game they will ever play with two buttons.”

Necrosphere Deluxe will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $9.99 in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. The game is currently available for Windows and Mac via Steam. The upcoming console versions of Necrosphere Deluxe will feature improved graphics, optimized performance, and additional languages compared to the PC version.
