911 Operator Is Now Available on Nintendo Switch!

Warsaw—October 26, 2018—SONKA today announced that the popular emergency response strategy sim 911 Operator is available now on the Nintendo Switch. Specifically redesigned to optimize play on the Switch, 911 Operator features scenarios in over 900 cities worldwide, with real layouts and infrastructure, and also includes the DLC pack First Response. Launching alongside the base game are two additional expansion packs, Special Resources and Every Life Matters, which add new items, events, conversations, and more adrenaline-pumping content. 911 Operator is priced at $14.99, with DLC packs priced at $3.99 and $5.99, respectively. A bundle containing all three is available for $22.

In this high pressure emergency response sim, players assume the role of a 911 dispatcher who must rapidly deal with incoming reports. Your task is not just to pick up the calls, but also to react appropriately to the situation: sometimes giving first aid instructions is enough, at other times a police, fire department or paramedic intervention is necessary. The person on the other end of the line may be a dying daughter’s father, an unpredictable terrorist, or just a prankster.

911 Operator lets you put your patience and management skills to the test, whether you’re eager to save lives on the go or want to give out orders from the comfort of your couch with a Pro Controller. The Free Play mode lets you choose a city to play with real streets, addresses and the emergency infrastructure, or attempt the Career mode, which contains six cities with unique events, including surviving an earthquake in San Francisco and saving Washington, D.C. from bomb attacks. Deploy emergency response teams from the police, fire department and paramedic units at your disposal, such as a variety of vehicles from common ambulances to police helicopters, essential equipment like bulletproof vests, first aid kits and technical tools, and specialists with specific abilities.

Key features of the game include:
  • The opportunity to play in over 900 cities worldwide!
  • Expansive Career mode, featuring unique calls and events
  • Switch-exclusive World Map feature optimized for console gameplay
  • More than 140 types of reports to encounter
  • 12 types of emergency response vehicles, including helicopters, police cars or motorcycles
  • Real first aid instructions

The Every Life Matters and Special Resources expansion packs add even more challenges to the game, with new equipment, game mechanics and situations. In Every Life Matters, operators are tasked with containing riots in Boston and keeping the Miami summer festival under control in Campaign mode, or dealing with events in Free Game mode. Use the new reinforcements function to summon new units and take advantage of two new vehicles and pieces of equipment designed especially for these events.
