Lost in Fantaland is a tactical card RPG where players use action cards on a grid-based board to survive battles with minimal damage. While failure is an expected part of your journey, you can use Soul Orbs earned at the end of each run to enhance your abilities, making complete victory an achievable goal!

Additionally, players must also carefully study enemy traits and behaviors. While a single enemy may not be too difficult to handle, a group acting together can create overwhelming trouble in an instant! Learning enemy behavior patterns and predicting their actions will greatly enhance a player’s chances of survival.

Running Away Is Not Shameful—It’s Actually Useful

Given the scarcity of recovery options, minimizing battle damage is the central focus of Lost in Fantaland. You don’t need to defeat every monster in each chapter. If you’re uncertain about your remaining health, choosing to skip unnecessary battles and head straight for the Boss is a valid tactic—after all, survival is what defines a successful adventure. There are even specific items that allow you to escape non-Boss battles entirely.

Sheffield, UK, September 18th, 2025 – Claymatic Games is thrilled to announce that Platypus Reclayed, the definitive reimagining of the cult classic clay-animated shmup, is out today on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch for $14.99, with a 10% discount available for the first week of launch.

Steam users can also buy the Platypus Reclayed: Special Edition for an additional $5, which adds the OST and a digital Art Book featuring Platypus history and “making of” content. Alternatively, players can buy the OST and Art Book separately.

Originally released in 2002, Platypus was one of the first indie games to achieve critical and commercial success, remembered for its handcrafted clay visuals, simple yet addictive gameplay, and enduring fan community. Platypus Reclayed takes everything that made the original Platypus sing and updates it for a modern audience.
