Just like the original game developed for arcade play in the 90’s, New Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja will offer a local two player co-op mode. Additionally, the game will also contain a training mode, a boss rush mode and even a speedrun mode!

Gothenburg, Sweden – August 26th, 2022 – Thunderful and Digital Kingdom are excited to announce that their anticipated dodge’em up, Swordship, will be ducking and weaving onto PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC in December 2022. Swordship was just revealed in IGN’s Awesome Indies showcase along with a new release window trailer for the thrilling action title, offering players a look at Swordship’s innovative dodge-based gameplay style which flips the switch on traditional arcade shooters.

Swordship is a nail-biting and intense dodging game where placement and precision are everything. As you speed through a post-apocalyptic flooded Earth pursued by hostile forces, you must duck and weave your way between hordes of enemies and their attacks, misleading them into taking each other out with slick and skilful movement.

Swordship is set in an unforgiving post-apocalyptic world where the consequences of global warming have forced the vast majority of humanity to take refuge in three gigantic underwater cities. The megacities exchange millions of containers loaded with goods every day while those on the outside scrape what they can together in order to survive. You play as one of the small number of inhabitants prepared to steal those precious containers to deliver vital supplies to those that have been banished to the outside.

Players are given the freedom of choice in selecting from a number of different Swordship variants, each coming with its own unique active power, offering the opportunity to experiment with a variety of approaches to overcome challenging and dangerous levels. Players can further experiment with their play style by choosing between risking it all and banking stolen containers for massive score boosts or, playing it safe for passive upgrades and extra ships that will fit your own unique style.

Having a streamlined and ultra-fast boat stripped of bulky and heavy weapons is a vital asset for a smuggler trying to get their stolen goods from one place to another as quickly as possible, but leaves you vulnerable to attack. That’s why only the most skilled pilots can hope to survive. Using your movement speed, turning the attacks of enemies against them and mastering the different weather conditions offered by procedurally generated levels is the only way to make it out alive.

26th August, 2022 – Indie publisher Ratalaika Games, together with SoftColors, look forward to gamers checking out this beautiful story driven visual novel that garnered plenty of attention on its PC release a little while back.

Aquadine is a beautiful kinetic visual novel where most of the crafted story is straightforward yet totally immersive. Stuttgart, Germany – 25 August 2022 – ININ Games is happy to announce that they will bring Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! to Western fans in 2023. The newest entry in TAITO’s universally-beloved series was just unveiled in Japan, in time for the birthday of Bub (26 August) – the cute green bubble dragon star of the series. Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch and will be the first game to feature a story mode playable with up to four players.

In the story mode, players tackle stages on Rainbow Islands, the setting for the new game. Each puzzle section is complimented by a story intermission featuring the bubble dragon protagonists, showcasing their unique personalities more than ever before. To clear each stage, players need to remove bubbles by connecting three or more of the same color – either on their own or with the help of fun and entertaining items and gimmicks. Additionally, for the first time in series history, fans will be able to enjoy story mode with a total of up to four players. So grab your controller and join your friends on an adventure through Rainbow Islands!

Story

The story of Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! brings Bub, Bob, Peb, and Pab to Rainbow Island, where Miniroon, a mysterious character similar to Bub lives. One day, Miniroon suddenly starts to emit a large number of bubbles, covering the whole island and causing problems for its residents. Time for our four friendly bubble dragons to step in and help Miniroon, whose bubble-blowing is bad news for the island!

About Puzzle Bobble

Puzzle Bobble (a.k.a. Bust-A-Move) is an action-puzzle game where the brothers Bub and Bob, who have been transformed into bubble dragons by a wizard’s spell, go on a bubble-bursting adventure. The classic gameplay formula is simple but addictive: using various items and gimmicks, connect three or more bubbles of the same colour to remove them from the field and progress. A spin off from the 1986 arcade hit Bubble Bobble, Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move has seen over 20 series titles across countless platforms since its 1994 debut. Paris, August 24th, 2022 – Microids is pleased to share a new gameplay trailer for the game Horse Tales – Emerald Valley Ranch as well as some new screenshots and the game’s release date. Developed by studio Aesir Interactive, the game will invite players to embark on a full-on equestrian open world adventure. Horse Tales – Emerald Valley Ranch is set for release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on November 3rd. In North America, the game will launch on November 15th.

In Horse Tales – Emerald Valley Ranch, players will be tasked to restore their family’s run-down estate back to its former glory. This quest will set them on a delightful open-world adventure that will have them explore the peninsula’s gorgeous and varied landscapes, from the colorful seashore of Coral Lagoon to the lush forest of Birchwoods.

They will make many friends along the way, including the nearby residents and of course… horses! Tame, breed and establish a strong bond with your equine companions, as each is unique and possesses distinct abilities, personality traits, preferences and training needs.

Bruxelles & Paris, August 22 2022 – Moulinsart and Microids are delighted to reveal the very first screens for Tintin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh’s video game adaptation. Developed by the Spanish studio Pendulo Studios, renown for their adventure games spanning over three decades, Tintin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2023.

Inspired by an iconic adventure from the comic book series “The Adventures of Tintin” created by Hergé selling more than 275 million units worldwide, this new video game will sign the return of the famous reporter to the interactive medium thanks to a dynamic co-production by Moulinsart and Microids.

Tintin and his faithful dog Snowy will set sail for incredible adventures! After meeting with the Egyptologist Sophocles Sarcophagus during a Mediterranean cruise, the famous reporter decides to investigate the Pharaoh Kih-Oskh’s tomb. What terrible secret does the tomb hide? From Egypt to India and Arabia, Tintin and Snowy will follow a lead on narcotics trafficking all the way to the far east.

This new adventure game will immerse players into the captivating comic book’s universe and make them the heroes of an epic action adventure masterpiece. With an art direction faithful to Hergé’s drawings, this game is lining up to be a jubilant adaptation!

Amstelveen, August 18th, 2022 – Mindscape, in partnership with publisher Just For Games and developer FRAG Games, announced today that Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures has passed final certification and will launch on September 27th for Switch and PC, with a launch on PS4 and PS5 following on October 18th.

Featuring farming gameplay in a cozy town filled with friendly locals, as well as adventures across the region, Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop or physically at a local retailer near you.

Golfenburg, Sweden – August 18th – Thunderful and Chuhai Labs are delighted to see their heavily anticipated ‘Golf-Like’, Cursed to Golf, drive its way onto PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch today. Cursed to Golf is a genre-twisting 2D roguelite golfer that features outlandish special abilities, diverse biomes, challenging bosses and a soundtrack that slaps harder than any heard in a golf game before.

If you can golf your way through the ever-changing 18 hole course spread across four biomes (Purgatory, The Oasis, The Caverns and Hell), you’ll be able to ascend back to life. Prepare for dungeon-like holes, often with multiple paths to the flag, littered with Grave Grabbers, deadly spikes, explosive TNT boxes and all manner of other traps and hazards.

Fear not, cursed golfer. For all the hazards that stand in your path, consider Chuhai Labs your friendly caddy, handing you a host of helpful tools to give you a chance of overcoming them. Shot Idols are a blessing from the golf god, awarding you extra shots for smashing through them, teleporters will take you closer to the flag, even TNT boxes can sometimes hide shortcuts, should you detonate them properly! Rewind time with a Mulligan, freeze water with the Ice Ball, guide your ball to its target with the Rocket Ball, get out of sticky situations with a Portal and blast your ball into three with the Scattershot. In between holes, you’ll be able to drive around the map in your Golf Cart. You might discover some treasure chests, card packs, or come across a totally-not-shady-at-all guy who will meet you at forks in the road and help you choose a path to take. It’s always a good idea to stop by the Eterni-Tee shop to buy card booster packs, switch up your outfit, or store a few special cards in your binder so they can survive in between runs.
