New Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World Trailer Released!
Stuttgart, Germany – February 18th 2021 – ININ Games and STUDIOARTDINK were overwhelmed and delighted with the feedback and media support from the recent press release and trailer released last month and would like to present another dazzling new trailer showing Asha’s good friend Pepelogoo in action.
The retail editions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 will be available for €39.99 and will include the original Monster World IV. The Western retail release will be in Q2/2021 for North America, Europe and Australia.
The digital Switch and PS4 versions by STUDIOARTDINK will be available in EU and US through the online stores for €34.99 in Q2/2021. Furthermore the game will be available on Steam in Q2/2021 as well (price to be announced). The digital versions won’t include Monster World IV.
Pepelogoo – Ashas blue friend
The theme of the new trailer is Pepelogoo, Asha’s trusted blue sidekick and one of the main characters. The trailer shows the two of them working together to overcome any obstacles.
Without their special friendship and interaction Asha wouldn’t get far with her adventure.
Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World contains puzzles and adventure elements that Asha and Pepelogoo can only solve together. Some paths seem blocked, but maybe a secret way will open up if Pepelogoo helps? A gap is too wide for jumping? Then Asha can hold on to Pepelogoo and he’ll fly her across it. As Pepelogoo is fond of extreme temperatures, he even stands by her side through the freezing cold and hot lava.
Any time Asha whistles, her loyal friend quickly comes flying, rushing to her rescue. Everyone should have a Pepelogoo in their life!
The legendary quest of two friends
Asha must free the four spirits being confined by evil forces whose origin she discovers throughout her journey. Luckily, she embarks on to this big adventure with her companion Pepelogoo.
While the story remains true to the original game from 1994, the game is a full remake of Monster World IV, with cell-shaded 3D graphics and 2D gameplay that stays close to the beloved original gameplay as well as enhanced visuals and refined play content.

Hardcore Turn-Based Tactics RPG Battle Brothers is Coming to Switch on March 11th!
London, United Kingdom – February 18th, 2021 – UKIYO Publishing and Overhype Studios are proud to announce that its critically acclaimed procedurally-generated tactics title Battle Brothers is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 11th. Pre-orders are available now, offering a discount of 15% off the game and all of its add-on content. The core game will retail for $29.99 / £22.99 / €27.99, while a comprehensive bundle will be available that includes the main game and premium DLC expansions: Beasts & Exploration, Warriors of the North, and Blazing Deserts, for $60.98 / £50.98 / €58.98, offering an additional 5% savings. For further information on all the add-on packs, check out their descriptions on the Nintendo eShop now.
Having launched on PC to rave reviews in 2017, Battle Brothers is a turn-based tactical RPG in which players accrue their own mercenary gang in a gritty, medieval fantasy world. You decide who to hire, where to go, what contracts to take on, and how to manage your private militia. Running a company requires blood, sweat and tears as you balance your budget, equip your crew, and do whatever it takes to put food on the table as you wander through this unforgiving world.
Once in combat, Battle Brothers is a different kind of tactical affair, as you position your players into place. They best be well equipped, however, as different weapons will have different advantages and disadvantages against the rogue gallery of cronies. Split shields with axes, stun enemies with a mace, form a phalanx with spears, or crush enemy armor with a warhammer. Everything in Battle Brothers is permanent, so once you lose a soldier, they’re gone forever. And if you lose your whole squad, it’s game over! The world of Battle Brothers is rough and unforgiving, ensuring that the stakes are always high both in battle and in the monetary management outside of it.
“Battle Brothers is a game designed to both challenge the players and their tactics and to generate memorable, unique stories. Stories of defeat, drama and despair but also stories of heroism and exciting victories,” said Jan Taaks of Overhype Studios. “Games as complex and deep as Battle Brothers are rare on the Switch and being finally able to play it while on the road is a very exciting prospect for us!”
“We quickly found ourselves addicted to Battle Brothers and knew it would be a perfect product for Switch, where you can game on the go… or at home when someone else is occupying the TV,” said Martin Hann of UKIYO Publishing. “It takes you on such compelling expeditions that having it in portable mode feels like cozying up to a good book.”

Monster Summoning Action Roguelike Sword of the Necromancer Releases Biggest Update Yet!
Barcelona, Spain – February 17th, 2021 – Game developers JanduSoft S.L and Grimorio of Games have released their biggest update yet for their monster summoning action roguelike Sword of the Necromancer. Since its launch on January 28th Sword of the Necromancer has shot into the top 30 downloaded games on the Nintendo eShop in North America and Europe and after listening to the players, an update was created to add some quality of life(after death) improvements:
- An Item Bag has been added that can store up to 4 items and is accessible at any time. Items stored in the bag are not in use and thus do not grant any passive or active effect. Monsters stored in the bag are not healed nor recover their health with time as the monsters you have equipped. The bag will be available after the tutorial level and is enabled by default.
- New options have been added to the Game Settings. Players can now choose to recall monsters from anywhere, start the game on the floor you last played, and enable/disable the new Item Bag. Use the Game Settings to optimise your gaming experience.
- Game Settings screen will appear once upon boot up after having cleared the tutorial.
- Several minor bugs and crashes have been fixed.
More on Sword of the Necromancer:
Sword of the Necromancer is a dungeon-crawler action-RPG with roguelike elements where you can revive your defeated enemies to make them fight alongside you. Turn your foes into allies using the forbidden powers of the Sword of the Necromancer and help the rogue Tama reach the dungeon’s depths to gather enough power to bring her beloved priestess Koko back from the dead. Assemble a small army of monsters, equip yourself with weapons and relics, and level up to take on the guardians that stand between you and your goal.
Each attempt gets you closer to the Necromancer. Upon death you’ll lose all your equipped weapons and monsters, but you will retain part of the level you achieved in your run. As you scour deeper through the dungeon you’ll uncover more of Tama and Koko’s past. Do you think it is dangerous to go alone? Then use the Flask of Homunculus to create a copy of yourself and play with a friend in local co-op! Additionally, there are IR codes that can be scanned to make the game easier. Or harder. The choice is yours!
