The classic shmup will be launching worldwide on Nintendo Switch and Steam on November 28, 2018, and the game will be available at a 20% discount (reduced from $14.99 to $11.99) for Switch pre-orders and during the first week of sale for both Steam and Switch, allowing humans everywhere the opportunity to hone their skills before the first wave strikes.

R-Type Dimensions EX includes both acclaimed arcade classics initially published by Irem, R-Type (1987) and R-Type II (1989). Each title can be played in classic mode with the original 2D graphics and retro music, or with hi-res 3D graphics and remastered audio.

Three new features will be introduced in this edition: Full Power-Up Mode, which allows players to power their ships to maximum weapon in Infinite Mode; Fast Forward, the ability to speed up the game in any mode; and crystal-clear 1080p resolution. Originally released as an arcade game in 1993, Night Slashers is a horror-themed side-scrolling beat ‘em up with fighting game action. This is the first time Night Slashers has ever been released on a home console.

Staffordshire, UK – Lightwood Games is delighted to announce that Word Sudoku by POWGI is coming to Nintendo Switch, with a free playable demo now available on the Nintendo eShop.

Word Sudoku by POWGI is a word-based twist on the classic logic puzzle game.

The core gameplay will be familiar to sudoku fans, but instead of using the digits 1 to 9, Word Sudoku is solved by placing nine different letters so that no row, column or grid section contains the same letter twice.

When completed, each puzzle will reveal a different nine-letter word, spelled across one row or column of the grid. This can act as an additional hint, if needed.

Players can also switch the puzzle into “number mode” if they prefer.

Touch screen controls are supported in Handheld Mode, but the game can also be played in Tabletop Mode or TV Mode using a controller.

The game contains 240 puzzles in various difficulties and is priced at $7.99 / GBP £6.99 / €7.99. Pre-orders are now open.

St. Louis, MO – Nov. 8, 2018 – Crashlands, the crafting-adventure with RPG elements and more than 500,000 players from Butterscotch Shenanigans, touches down on Nintendo Switch today alongside a new couch co-op mode. This new mode also launches on Steam today via a free update.

If Crashlands has a lesson to offer, let it be to never come between an intergalactic trucker and her deliveries. When Flux and her trusty robot assistant Juicebox encounter a villainous alien named Hewgodooko that steals their ship components, they hurtle towards the wild planet known as Woanope. Now she’s going to show ol’ Hewgo that he messed with the wrong trucker as she starts from scratch, lives off the land, finds all of her missing packages, builds ridiculous weapons…and maybe saves the galaxy if you want to be all dramatic about it.

Stranded on a foreign land with nothing but scraps from her aircraft and the indigenous flora and fauna, Flux and Juicebox start from square one. But they won’t stay there long. Crashlands wants you to get to the good parts nice and quick. We know you just wanna chill out, kill aliens, harvest their bits, and build a house out of ‘em. With an auto-sorted, infinite inventory, the ability to teleport home at any time, and a building system as easy as finger-painting, you can do just that.

Anything on Flux’s path is a useful resource to build tools, structures, and weapons: baconweed restores her health, weird-shaped trees may become part of a sawmill and a stolen egg can hatch into a disgustingly cute ally. If you’re lucky enough to have even one real-life friend, you can even bring them along for the ride: couch co-op allows a friend to play as Juicebox, helping with both combat and harvesting.

Get ready to craft tons of gear to defeat Woanope’s baddies – righteously slay the unassuming lifeforms while donning swords, hammers, axes and armor. Juicebox is incredibly creative when it comes time to work with the resources laying around. Who would’ve thought it was possible to construct a bomb that sets enemies ablaze with only some roots, grass and logtrees? When they aren’t burning to a painful crisp, watch enemies closely. Recognizing their telegraphed attacks can save Flux’s life.

Flux’s quest to deliver her packages, keep her Space Pension secure and maybe stop a megalomaniac foe from controlling the universe takes her across three huge biomes containing a 40+ hour Story Mode. You want NPCs, plenty of sidequests, and some very gross-looking bosses in the cutest hand-drawn style imagined? We gotchu. For the overachievers, there are two extra modes to spice things up: Creative and Hardcore. Players can even save their progress and continue the journey anywhere with cross-play on PC and mobile versions.

In this intense and insidiously difficult 2.5D game developed by flukyMachine, you will be eaten, burned, crushed, digested, shocked, slapped, poisoned or just fall down. Many times.

The happy and joyful world of Doodland has changed forever. Omnomus, a cruel monster that loves the taste of Doodlers, is wreaking havoc and you have only two options: run as fast as you can or die. Created on a piece of paper, each part of Doodland is different and features a unique atmosphere full of demanding obstacles forcing players to run, jump, swim and fly to overcome them. Escape Doodland is the brainchild of just two visionaries: Veronika Harkavenko, who created the stunning graphics, and Piotr Karski, who did everything else.
