Gothenburg, Sweden – November 21st, 2023 – Thunderful, Coatsink and Noname Studios are pleased to announce that following the launch on PC on November 20th, their atmospheric 2D adventure, Worldless, is out today on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. Worldless delivers a mix of metroidvania platforming, turn-based action combat and RPG-style upgrades.

Worldless’ combat system requires the strategy typically associated with turn-based systems, but adds an element of real-time action thanks to timing-based elements that you need to master to be successful when defending and combining attacks. An intricate skill tree adds new layers to combat encounters, as well as opening up new avenues for you to explore.

Worldless is set in a newborn universe based on entities trapped in an eternal conflict by the polarising nature of their attractions. These interactions can result in an exchange of their polarities, but this process is very unstable, and who knows what new results can come from it…

Gothenburg, Sweden – August 23rd, 2023 – Thunderful, Coatsink and Noname Studios are pleased to reveal, via a new release date announcement trailer that debuted today during Xbox Booth @ gamescom show, that their genre-bending 2D adventure platformer, Worldless will be releasing on October 4th. Previously only announced for Xbox and PC, it has now been announced that the game will also be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch on the same October 4th release date. Set in an abstract, atmospheric world, Worldless is an adventure platformer that features a turn-based action combat system that requires both strategy and timing to be successful. An intricate skill tree adds new dimensions to combat, opens up new avenues for you to explore and uncover the game’s many secrets, and mirrors the game’s themes of growth and understanding.

Worldless is set at a time where the rules of existence remain undefined. In this abstract setting, players will discover entities with opposing goals. One half is fixated on the virtue of their nature, the other is seeking to exchange it for their demise. This inevitably thrusts them into conflict as they battle for transcendence and you will find yourself embroiled in that fight.
