Simon the Sorcerer Origins Available for Digital Pre-Order with added Deluxe Edition!

Stuttgart, Germany – 16.09.2025 – Publisher ININ Games and developer Smallthing Studios are excited to announce that digital pre-orders for Simon the Sorcerer Origins are now live, available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Mac, Linux, and Steam Deck. The long-awaited return of one of gaming’s most iconic point-and-click adventures is available in two editions:

  • Standard Edition (€24.99)

  • Deluxe Edition (€34.99), which includes a digital artbook and the full soundtrack.

In celebration of the pre-order launch, fans who reserve either edition will receive the exclusive PONY DLC at no extra cost. This special bonus allows players to enjoy the original Simon the Sorcerer soundtrack from the 1990s within the new game, providing a nostalgic treat for longtime fans of the franchise.

Simon the Sorcerer Origins is available for pre-order now on Steam, the Nintendo eShop and the Xbox Store, with the PlayStation Store pre-orders going live very soon.

The brand new prequel release is already  having an impact as the wish lists are rapidly growing as excitement builds. Dialogue comes in two languages by iconic actors (Chris Barrie – English and Erik Borner – Deutsch) plus localisation in 11 languages gives it worldwide appeal!

Composer Mason Fisher, celebrated for his work on Eye of the Beholder, Age of Wonders, F.E.A.R, Extraction Point, etc., contributes the backing soundtrack to the game, as well as the HUGE pop hitmaker and chart topper Rick Astley.

Set in April 1993, a few weeks before the events of the first episodes released 30 years ago…… SMALLTHING Studios, the developer, spent years researching and creating the storyline with the assistance and input from Simon Woodroffe (along with his father Mike), who was the lead creator and designer of the original Simon The Sorcerer series back in the 90s that were HUGE hits. Attention to detail, character analysation, attention to settings have all been researched to bring everything to life as you will see in the latest video creation!
