Crunching Koalas plans to launch MouseCraft on Wii U this fall!
Cat scientist research game MouseCraft will arrive for Wii U during Q3 2015, developer Crunching Koalas has revealed. The 2D puzzler released last year for Steam and PlayStation platforms, receiving praise for its colorful aesthetic and puzzle design, while seeing criticism for unchallenging difficulty.
Starring a crazy cat scientist conducting an experiment involving three blind mice, MouseCraft has been deemed as a cross between Tetris and Lemmings, and revolves around overcoming gaps by placing blocks for the sightless rodents to get from point A to B. As you progress, an epic tale will unfold around you, as the feline experiment conductor tries to unravel the enigma behind a mysterious mice-powered machine. Players will have to overcome various environmental obstacles and dangers, but at their own pace, as MouseCraft utilizes an Active Pause mechanic, which can freeze the game at any point. Increasing the speed is also an option. And it wouldn’t be the full puzzle package without allowing players to create their own maps, which they will be able to share to the community, naturally.
