Epic Word Search Collection out Today on Nintendo Switch!
Staffordshire, UK – Lightwood Games is excited to announce the release of their latest word puzzle game, Epic Word Search Collection.
The game is available today on the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS Vita, and the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch.
An Epic Word Search puzzles is a giant scrolling monster of a word search, with around 1,500 words hidden in a massive grid of more than 14,000 letters.
The sheer size of a puzzle means it takes even the most avid word puzzler about ten hours to complete each one! Fortunately, the game is optimised to load quickly so you can pick up right where you left off whenever you have a spare moment.
This new collection brings together optimised versions of four of our most popular puzzles, with an updated interface for both touchscreen and controllers, and an improved hint feature.
The puzzles included are:
- Epic Food Word Search – Munch your way from breakfast to dessert, sample the wares of farmers, butchers and bakers and top it all off with a selection of seasonings and sauces!
- Epic Animals Word Search – The furriest word search you’ll ever meet and want to tickle the tummy of! Go “eww” at creepy crawlies and “aww” at baby animals; visit the depths of the ocean and make a whole bunch of animal noises!
- Epic Journeys Word Search – Fasten your seatbelt! Travel in luxury on the Orient Express, go off-road through the Australian outback, explore the ancient Silk Road and embark on an expedition to conquer Mount Everest!
- Epic Sports Word Search – Score a home run, hit a hole in one, carry the ball all the way for a touchdown and catch a fish “this big”.
The game is rated is PEGI 3 and ESRB E.

Lightwood Games making Epic Word Search Collection for 3DS!
Lightwood Games has announced Epic Word Search Collection for the 3DS eShop. The game brings together five of the previously released “epic” puzzles. Each puzzle has more than 1,500 words hidden with it, with more than 14,000 letters in each of the five puzzles. The game is priced at $7.99/ €7.99 / £5.99 and will launch on July 23rd in the US and on July 16th in Europe.
The developers estimate that each puzzle could take up to 10 hours to complete. Using streetpass, players will be able to exchange data regarding their puzzle progress.
This is not the first time we have seen Lightwood Games on Nintendo platforms. The studio released Word Search by POWGI earlier this year for both the Wii U and 3DS.
