Mighty Goose Causes Co-Op Chaos Today on Nintendo Switch!
TOKYO – June 5, 2021 – Mighty Goose, the over the top, run-and-gun, titled goose game, developed by Blastmode and MP2 Games and published by PLAYISM, begins its utter destruction of PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility today.
Waddle, run, and gun through nine destructive levels clearing out high fidelity pixel art enemy bases so intergalactic nature can finally heal. Customize an honorable goose with a gaggle of gun arm upgrades and alternate ammo options to reunite the Mighty Goose squad. Rescue animal companions like Regular Duck to aid in combat with different and strategy-changing abilities like the Sprint Boots and Chonker Bombs.
The leader of team Mighty Goose is Mighty Goose, but his friends refer to him as Goose. As a professional avian space stalker, rivals are always bound to rear their ugly beaks, like fellow fowl Raven. The villainous Void King sends Raven and his army to imprison Goose’s animal friends in Void bases and take out the belligerently blaring bounty hunter for good.
Nothing can stop the chaotic and fun tones of Mighty Goose paying homage to and poking fun at beloved run-and-gunners of old. Expressive pixel art by Richard Lems (KUNAI) and a fist wing-pumping, high-energy soundtrack by Dominic Ninmark (Blazing Chrome) set a standard of quality for goose games everywhere that goose fans will remember for the ages.
“Honk honk honk, quack honk honk,” said Mighty Goose, star of Mighty Goose. “Quack honk hoooooonk quack honk quack quack quack honk honk quack!” We couldn’t have said it any better Mr. Goose, your berries and caviar are in your trailer as requested.
For those inspired by Mighty Goose, an official fan art contest will be held from release up until 6 p.m. PDT June 28th, with one grand prize winner receiving a Nintendo Switch. Post your submission on Twitter using the #mightygoosefanart hashtag and see the full rules here. On top of that, a speed run contest will also be held simultaneously, please take a gander at the contest information for how to enter and more information.
Mighty Goose is out now on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility for $19.99/€17.99, and will honk in Japanese, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Korean, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Polish.

Mighty Goose Unleashes Honkslaught June 5th on Nintendo Switch!
TOKYO – May 16, 2020 – Mighty Goose, the over the top, run-and-gun, titled goose game, developed by Blastmode and published by PLAYISM, gears up for its Saturday, June 5, 2021 release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Hunt “down” fiends across a fowl galaxy as Mighty Goose. Waddle and gun as fast as any heavily-fortified goose can through five stages, each with their own bounty waiting to be plucked. Flaunt Mighty Goose’s feathers to show off collectible upgrades and weapons like Sprint Boots and Chonker Bombs. Bring rescued companions and their abilities under Mighty’s wing, then team up with local co-op mode for a full goose and gander playthrough.
In this epic adventure, Mighty Goose brings the fight to the Void King. Gun your way through hordes of minions and mechanized machines under the evil conquerer’s command. Free Commander Vark and friends to form your own little squad in the fight to free the galaxy.
Our goose hero might not win a footrace, but his accuracy and wide arsenal of weapons send his enemies packing for the south. Preen invasive space creatures from high-security prisons, dangerous deserts, and ancient civilizations all designed in high-quality pixel art by Richard Lems (KUNAI) with inspiration from classic and beloved run-and-gun games. A high-energy soundtrack by Dominic Ninmark (Blazing Chrome) complements the egg-splosive action.
“Combining the goose character with something as action-packed as Metal Slug seemed like a really funny idea.” said Richard Lems, founder of Blastmode. “Mighty Goose is a modern take on the throwback run-and-gun of the 90’s, combining funny characters and crazy encounters with solid gameplay and fluidity of a modern game.”
Mighty Goose releases Saturday, June 5 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for Windows PC for $19.99/17.99, and will honk in Japanese, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Korean, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Polish.
