New Update for Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly Takes Off on All Platforms Today!
PERTH, AUSTRALIA – May 4, 2020 – Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly, the aerial party showdown from Dogmelon Games, takes to the skies with four additional game modes available now on Xbox One and Steam for PC, with the update soaring onto Nintendo Switch May 14. Rookie pilots can join the squadron at a permanently reduced price.
Go snout to snout with up to eight friends in the brand new Paint, King, Capture the Cow and Souvenir modes. Baron’s anthropomorphic dog fighting battles now come with a new difficulty level for bots and a number of quality of life fixes, all at a reduced price of 14.99 USD / 14.99 EUR.
Create a chaotic aerial masterpiece in Paint mode, with teams going head to head covering the arena in their colors. Longevity is the key to victory as pilots create more paint the longer they stay afloat.
In King mode, pilots work together to take down the monarch as they rack up points. The animal who shoots down the sultan becomes the next monarch of the skies, ensuing chaos as the King gets access to special weapons which randomize with each use.
Bovine will fly in Capture the Cow, as pilots race to claim a cow randomly appearing around the map. The longer a plane carries the cow, the more points the flyer gets, but without the ability to shoot or dodge, cow carrying pilots must unleash all the aerial tricks at their disposal to win.
Souvenir mode has planes drop coins whenever they meet an untimely demise, meaning flyers don’t need to be sharp shooters to win. Anyone can swoop in, pick up coins, and claim victory if they keep their eyes peeled.
“After last month’s take off of Baron, our fans told us they loved the game but wanted more ridiculous ways to rule the skies,” said Anthony Wiese, Co-Developer of Dogmelon Games. “We now have eight different ways to engage in aerial hijinks, from extra strategy for those who want a challenge, and more more ways to be a top pilot with added accessibility in new modes.”
Soar back to the early 20th century with Baron’s whimsical original soundtrack, now available for $10 via iTunes. The soundtrack will also be available for free to anyone who has previously purchased a copy of Baron on any platform, veteran pilots can visit the Baron website to secure their copy. With a song for each of the eight anthropomorphic characters, victors can let their favorite theme ring out anytime.
Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly supports English, Chinese and Japanese for Steam, with more to be added.

Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly Now Available for Nintendo Switch!
PERTH, Australia – March 4, 2020 – Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly, the frenzied aerial shooter from Dogmelon Games, takes to the skies today on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam.
It’s 1917 and the age of aviation is in full flight. The glory of soaring through the air has attracted patriotic animals to the world of aeronautics. Jump into the pilot seat as a cocky duck, a surprisingly compact bear, and six other anthropomorphized critters. Do a barrel a roll, loop-the-loop, and gun down the competition in dogfights to command the skies.
Choose one of four biplanes inspired by early 20th century designs, each with their own stats, including handling, shields, and speed. Developed by an aircraft engineer, Baron’s chaotic aerial battles are designed to strike a balance between nuanced physics and over-the-top fun. Every plane comes equipped with a wild-spraying Gatling gun and one of 13 special weapons, such as the gravity sucking Black Hole, giant crushing Anvils, and repulsive Stinky Fish.
Up to eight player showdowns take place on stylized landscapes across a variety of single and multiplayer modes. It’s every beast for themselves in free-for-all, or duke it out in team battles to determine who’s the flyest squad around. Master how to fly and craft the perfect loadout in Training mode, then grab a friend to fend off a flock of invaders in Sheep Attack.
“Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly takes aviation combat sims to new heights with dogfights featuring actual dogs,” said Anthony Wiese, Co-Developer, Dogmelon Games. “We’re excited to share our wild alternate world now that it’s available for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.”
Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly is available for $19.99 USD on Steam, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. It supports English, Chinese and Japanese on PC, with more to come post-launch.

Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly Takes Off March 4th On Nintendo Switch!
PERTH, AUSTRALIA – Feb. 5, 2020 – Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly, the high-flying party showdown from Dogmelon Games, barrel rolls onto Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam on March 4, 2020.
Fight for the skies against up to seven other players using gatling guns, freeze rays and anvils to take out rival pilots, all while the wind blows through your fur, feathers or scales. Spin, dive and loop through cascades of bullets and avoid perilously crashing to the ground below to become ruler of the skies.
Responding to the call to arms, animals have taken to the skies in cutting-edge early 20th century aviation technology – biplanes. Fulfil their solemn duty by taking each other down in wacky combat and bringing glory to their species in literal aerial dogfights. Choose between eight cartoony critters such as Baron von Fluffe-Botte, a high-flying sausage dog or Colonel Hock, a motherly pig following her dreams of flight. These heroes each come with their own style, voice and old-timey victory theme.
Looking fly in styles of the period choose from four, semi-historically accurate aircraft. Each has its own stats balancing weight, handling, speed and armor, empowering ace-pilots or budding flyers to select the perfect plane for their aerial antics. Further customization comes from upgrading the biplanes stats between rounds, and changing up equipped special weapons.
While the aircraft may be historically accurate, animal pilots excluded, the weapons are hilariously not. If the basic barrage of bullets isn’t enough, equip one of more than 13 outlandish weapons to blow other critters out of the sky. Get explosive with the colourful Balloon Bomb, spew forth hot victory with the Flamethrower or simply repulse away the competition with the Stinky Fish. Crashing is only a minor setback as pilots return to the sky mere moments after their defeat to continue the aerial hijinks.
The variety of multiplayer and singleplayer modes might call for a bigger couch. Create an alliance to take down agile foes in team co-op, or embrace aerial chaos with in free-for-all. Solo ace-pilots can hone their skills in training mode or compete to get the highest score in Sheep Attack by rounding up flying sheep, putting an end to their aerial menace.
“In between crafting all the animal puns we can handle we’ve focused on capturing that chaotic couch multiplayer feeling,” said Anthony Wiese, Lead Developer of Dogmelon Games. “Our aim from the start was to make Baron as much ludicrous fun as possible and from players reactions so far we’ve done just that.”
Baron: Fur is Gonna Fly will be available for $20 USD on Steam for PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Languages include English, Chinese and Japanese for Steam, with more to be added post-launch.
