Stuttgart, Germany May 19, 2026 – ININ Games proudly announces that R-Type Dimensions III is now available digitally worldwide for PC, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms.

To celebrate today’s launch, ININ Games has released an action-packed new launch trailer showcasing the game’s spectacular fusion of classic arcade gameplay and fully reimagined modern presentation.

Originally released in 1993, R-Type Dimensions III returns as far more than a simple remaster. The development team approached the project as a true restoration of a legendary shoot-’em-up classic. Carefully rebuilding and re-interpreting every visual, audio, and gameplay element for contemporary audiences while preserving the precise feel, pacing, and identity that made the original title unforgettable.

The result is a unique experience that honors gaming history while delivering a fresh presentation for a new generation of players.

One of the game’s most celebrated features allows players to instantly switch between the original 1993 version and the completely reimagined 2026 presentation during gameplay with the press of a single button. This seamless transition highlights the remarkable evolution of the title in real time and offers fans a direct comparison between retro authenticity and modernized visuals.

Physical editions of R-Type Dimensions III will launch on August 11, 2026.
