Monday August 11th, 2025: German publisher BBG Entertainment GmbH starts the countdown to the releases of the eagerly awaited BOULDER DASH 40th Anniversary edition starring the much loved central character Rockford in more mayhem boulder challenges that will delight, or should we say excite fans of this genre and IP. Releasing on all major platforms, priced at €19.99 / $19.99, which include PC, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox, Mac and Sony PlayStation 4 and 5.

What more can be said of the brand that hasn’t been said before? Well, for a start, there are 180  brand new creatively designed levels of explosive action and with a completely redesigned engine. While sticking to its roots and ideals that made it so playable originally it now with extra polish, slickness and inventiveness! It’s sort of back to the future – the 80s but now in 2025 but with 80s retro essence!

What’s it ALL ABOUT

Basically some would say gather enough diamonds in a cave filled with treacherous enemies and falling rocks to open the door to the exit. Simple right – WRONG! Fast reactions, forward thinking, a touch of luck but loads of skill and anticipation is essential! It isn’t called Boulder Dash for nothing! Think of a maze,  with lots of compartments all with hazards galore and safely make your way out of it, without some fateful ending!
