Bake ’n Switch Turns Five with a Sizzling $5 Price Drop!

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – September 4, 2025 – Streamline Studios is turning up the heat as Bake ’n Switch, the violently cute couch co-op and PvP party brawler, celebrates its 5th anniversary! Originally launched on August 21, 2020, Bake ’n Switch has been bringing friends together (and tearing them apart) with chaotic, dough-flinging gameplay for half a decade.

To commemorate this milestone, publisher Streamline Media Group is permanently reducing the game’s price from $30 to just $5, effective September 13th, 09 AM PT.

Available on Steam and Nintendo Switch, Bake ’n Switch lets 1-4 players join forces, or clash in battle, to catch, merge, and sacrifice adorable living Dough creatures to appease ancient, hangry Guardians. Whether you’re teaming up in co-op or fighting your friends, this game delivers nonstop action with over 100 dynamic levels, a cast of mischievous Buns, and six unique Bakers to master.

“Five years ago, we launched Bake ’n Switch as a passion project to bring people together through laughter, chaos, and a little bit of betrayal,” said Alexander Fernandez, CEO of Streamline Media Group. “The new $5 price tag is our way of saying thank you to the players and inviting new Bakers to experience the wild world of Fla.”

Over the past five years, the Bake ’n Switch community has enjoyed free DLC updates, improved online multiplayer, new Player versus Player (PvP) modes, and a range of seasonal content, all thanks to feedback from over 10,000 devoted players worldwide. The game also won awards for Game of the Year, Outstanding Gameplay and Visual Excellence in Reboot 2019.
