December 8th, 2022. Chained Echoes, the long awaited pixel-perfect JRPG developed by Matthias Linda and published by Deck13 Spotlight is OUT NOW – 8th December 2022! Perfectly blending fantasy with Mechs and Airships, the game is out now on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC and will immerse gamers into a story-driven epic! A Magnum Opus 7 Years in the Making

After seven years of development, the Magnum Opus from solo developer Matthias Linda, Chained Echoes, a traditional, all encompassing JRPG, inspired by classics of the SNES and PSX era, is finally finished. Gamers from all around the world can now engage in an outstanding JRPG fantasy that is full of exciting challenges and appeal.

Players will find themselves within the continent of Valandis, which, after centuries of war, is finally at peace. However, this world they are in is marked by possible conflict, and rumors that a weapon of mass destruction is an imminent danger. Peace is fragile, conflicts lasting for centuries just won’t disappear, a new war could break loose anytime soon… Can a group of strangers restore peace? Can the weapon be destroyed?

Chained Echoes is packed; featuring magic, mechs, swords, boss fights, turn-based combat, a complex story and roughly 40 hours of content. The official Soundtrack for Chained Echoes by Eddie Marianukroh includes 50 tracks and is available through bandcamp and Steam.

Chained Echoes will also receive a physical release in Summer 2023 and is now available for pre-order.

Exclusively distributed by First Press Games, it will receive premium physical editions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC DVD, with different variants that vary in terms of included goodies and merch. Esoundsignal’s Original Soundtrack as a 2CD release is also on offer separately.

Explore a mysterious mansion, solve puzzles, battle enemies and complete quests to unlock new abilities and discover new equipment. In Paper Cut Mansion, you play as Toby, a police detective arriving at the road leading to the enigmatic old mansion. Its unique dodge ‘em up gameplay flips the switch on traditional arcade shooters, requiring you to use your enemies’ attacks against them, skillfully weaving around their fire to trick them into taking each other out. Select from a number of Swordship variants, each with its own unique active power, offering the opportunity to experiment with a variety of approaches to overcome challenging and dangerous levels. Players can further experiment with their play style by choosing between risking it all and banking stolen containers for massive score boosts, or playing it safe for passive upgrades and extra ships.

Swordship is set in an unforgiving post-apocalyptic world where the consequences of global warming have forced the vast majority of humanity to take refuge in three gigantic underwater cities. The megacities exchange millions of containers loaded with goods every day while those on the outside scrape what they can together in order to survive. You play as one of the small number of inhabitants prepared to steal those precious containers to deliver vital supplies to those that have been banished to the outside.

Stuttgart, Germany – December 2022 – Strictly Limited Games welcomes two new Shoot ‘em up titles in one ‘hot’ combo physical releases for the Nintendo Switch to their store. In collaboration with Hanaji Games, this is the only physical version of these two gems available.

Two Different Styled Shooters, One Great Collection

Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo is a vertically scrolling ‘score’ focused shooter set in an apocalyptic mechanised world. With seven different ships to choose from, each with different attack and movement properties, this frantic paced shooter delivers deep and satisfying combat. Exciting unlockables – 14 playable mechas, branching paths, multiple endings, and much more will be unveiled as you delve deeper into the game. Quickly clearing enemies and raising your rank is key to unlocking the final stage and is just one ongoing task to complete.

In Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo, not only does the score hunt and challenging gameplay provide plenty of replay value, but also the branching stage paths will influence the ending. Paired with the quirky story and popping graphics, you sure won’t get bored playing this one.

Dezatopia is a classic arcade styled horizontal shooter with a huge assortment of content, which offers both value and an amazing experience. 24 different stages with 21 bosses arranged in 21 routes, with intuitive and simple controls that will please both experienced and novice gamers. Unique enemies, bosses, weapons galore and interactive components are supplemented with great art and visual backdrops.

Strange and unusual creatures inhabited Earth’s underground. These unknown to humankind until Momoko, a fashion-obsessed high school girl, accidentally discovered them; but now she plans to create a new world: Dezatopia. Akane and Aoba, Momoko’s schoolmates, are hired to help achieve her directive but things don’t go to plan. The backdrop story could soon become a distant memory, as the all out colourful and non stop, over the top, but compelling, fire and hail explosive onscreen action ramps up!

The craft you control has four unique, intuitive weapons which can each be fired in one direction to halt the enemy onslaught. Upgrades and items can also be purchased from a mid-flight shop, but these advantages are countered by a dynamic difficulty system that automatically adjusts to match the player’s skill level to ensure their experience, strategy, technique and luck are always tested.

Both Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo and Dezatopia present great and amusing backdrop stories which set the scene for the action and challenges that gamers will encounter once they are ready to face the enemy forces, along with some awesome Bosses and cast that will materialise!

The SLG Dezatopia & Mecha Ritz Limited Editions will come in two versions, each featuring a cover artwork focusing on one of the games in the collection, named Momoko and Veloce Edition as well as reversible cover artwork featuring both. Included is a colored manual for both games. The game cartridge included is the same. These are limited to 999 units each.
