Faeria Digital Collectible Card and Turn-based Strategy Game Out Now on Nintendo Switch!
Baltimore, MD – August 13th, 2020 – Following its success on PC with 1 million players, Indie publisher Versus Evil and developer Abrakam Entertainment are pleased to announce that digital collectible card and turn-based strategy game Faeria is out now on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Faeria launches on consoles with full cross-play support. Now gamers on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One can all go head to head. Players can craft exciting decks and shape the battlefield as they fight epic battles, raise mountains, build forests, fill lakes, or harness the sands of the deserts during play. With Faeria’s stunning graphics and strategic gameplay at its core, players will enjoy over 100+ hours of single player content, co-operative missions and puzzles to a vast array of single player challenges, to hone their deck building skills and strategies. Players can take their decks online and go head to head in ranked and casual PVP matches or in Pandora, Faeria’s take on draft mode.
“Faeria is a remarkable and beautifully illustrated collectible card game with a fantastic community of players. We’re thrilled to connect its devoted fanbase with a whole new audience of console gamers via cross-play,” Said Steve Escalante, General Manager of Versus Evil. “Our first party partners at Microsoft and Nintendo have been amazingly supportive of our efforts to connect our players together.”
Richard Garfield, creator of Magic the Gathering, counts himself part of the fanbase of PC players, saying: “Anyone who is interested in digital card games should absolutely try Faeria.”
Nintendo Switch players benefit from 5 free DLC packs available for free at launch, including: Premium Edition, All Avatars DLC, All Cardbacks DLC, All Orbs DLC and All Wells DLC from the Premium Edition DLC. The offer is limited to only the first 30 days after release.
And yet even more Faeria news is still to come! Announcement of the release date for the PlayStation 4 version of Faeria, as well as details of an exciting $10,000 cash prize tournament, part of the Faeria World Circuit, will be coming soon.
