Paris – June 12th, 2020 – Microids and PlayMagic are delighted to announce that XIII – the remake of the cult classic cel-shaded FPS – will be released November 10th 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC/Mac. With this announcement comes the premiere of the first gameplay trailer filled with action and adrenaline, as well as some cel-shaded screenshots.

The gameplay trailer unveils the artistic direction chosen, especially the cel-shading treatment, trademark of the original game! Gauntlet mode is a roguelike mode where every run is unique, players pick their champion and fight their way through ever more difficult battles. After every win players can draft new cards, rules and rewards for their decks in an effort to build the ultimate combo and beat the Gauntlet.

Cardpocalypse is an RPG where battles are played with an epic collectible card game, players build killer card decks, twist the rules and try to save the world in this single-player choice driven RPG about being a 90’s kid. Hamar, Norway – June 12th 2020 – Norway-based developer Perfectly Paranormal is pleased to announce that their new body desecration puzzle-platformer Helheim Hassle is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC via Steam on Tuesday, August 18th; with a PlayStation 4 version coming a little later.

Helheim Hassle is a comedic yet macabre narrative adventure game, from the same universe as previous hit Manual Samuel, that is as much about friendship as it is about body parts. You play as Bjørn, a pacifist Viking who hates the idea of dying and going to Valhalla (who then ends up dying and getting taken to Valhalla) as he seeks to negotiate his way out while helping the mysterious Pesto on a quest to retrieve a certain magical item… In return, Pesto will try to grant Bjørn a permanent residence in Helheim – what a hassle!

Players will be tasked with completing up to 70 quests over 14 levels, requiring the use of all manner of different body part combos to complete the game’s unique puzzle-platforming challenges. On this adventure, players will come into contact with 80 different characters from all walks of life (and death) ranging from frustrated god souls, bear ghosts, dragons, elves, dwarves and blue-collar goblins; all voiced by 24 professional voice actors delivering 3,700 lines of spoken dialogue!

“We are so excited to finally be able to reveal the release date for Helheim Hassle,” said Ozan, Project Leader from Perfectly Paranormal. “This has been a very odd year for us and the rest of the world, but hey I guess oddness is our speciality! Rebuilt from the ground up to leverage the power of PC and consoles, HyperBrawl Tournament is a beautiful and fast-paced PvP experience, optimised for skill-based online or local ‘party’ play.

Smash, brawl and score your way to victory in relentless, high-adrenaline, 1-4 PvP arena battles. Master the HyperCurve, that allows you to seize control of the ball mid-flight to score legendary goals and channel the HyperForce, with its devastating, game-changing, power.

In a combination of sports and brawling, the heroes can choose different abilities and awesome weapons to bring into the arena as they fight for control of the ball, throwing it into the opposition’s goal to score points. Stuttgart, June 11th – The localised, digital, versions of one of the highest revered Shoot ‘Em Up game series in the history of video gaming are heading to the Nintendo eShop and PSN. The Darius Cozmic Collection Console and the Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade will be available on 16th June 2020.

The Darius series pioneered horizontal Shoot ‘Em Up games and was developed by the legendary TAITO Corporation. The first Darius game wowed arcade going fans when it was released in 1986 with its dedicated dual-display cabinet, imaginative enemy designs and revolutionary sound design.

The first Darius is set in a futuristic 2D world, where the player pilots a Silver Hawk craft alone, or with a second player, and shoots their way through enemy hordes, navigating tricky terrain and battling giant robotic sea creatures.
