August 13th 2019, Liverpool, United Kingdom – Ripstone Games, in collaboration with Lab42 and World Snooker, today announced that Snooker 19 is now available for purchase digitally on the eShop for Nintendo Switch, priced at $34.99.

Snooker 19 Is the most realistic simulation of snooker ever seen. Players can choose to take their best shot as part of an in-depth single-player Career Mode, an array of local and online multiplayer modes or jump online to master every official tournament on the World Snooker calendar. With 128 of the world’s best players to choose from, including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Selby and Ding Junhui, every major tournament is represented in the lead up to the coveted World Snooker Championship at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield; the home of snooker in the UK.

Snooker 19 syncs in real-time with the live World Snooker calendar, inviting players to battle for their place on the leaderboard to redeem exclusive rewards that can be used to customise their pro player. Developed by Lab42, based in Leamington Spa, Snooker 19 sets a new visual standard for snooker video games. Everything has been meticulously re-created in game; from the detailed wood grain of the STAR Xing Pai tables to the world-famous arenas including the Crucible and Alexandra Palace. Stuttgart, Germany; August 22, 2019 – ININ Games, publishing label of United Games GmbH, today released a new extra-large trailer for THE NINJA SAVIORS – Return of the Warriors and confirmed the launch dates for Europe and North America.

The highly anticipated sequel to the arcade hit will be released in Europe on August 30, and in North America on October 15 on Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation 4. The game was originally planned to be released simultaneously in both markets. The reason for the short-term postponement in North America are unforeseen logistical challenges, which could not be solved in time despite intensive efforts. ININ would like to apologize formally to the many fans who are already eagerly waiting to play this masterpiece. As small compensation for a longer wait time, the physical release will contain some extra items that will be revealed later.

There is more good news: The game will be released as a completely uncut experience in Europe and the US, including the option to change the color of the hit effects to red. It will also include enemies which were not included in the Western Super Nintendo version at that time. An extensive insight into the features and characters is provided by the six-minute XXL trailer which was released today.

The fully revised side-scrolling arcade brawler THE NINJA SAVIORS – Return of the Warriors features a strong cast of five playable characters and a plethora of individual moves, with two completely new faces joining the team: The small woman-shaped android Yaksha, with telescopic arms performing unpredictable moves and Raiden, a colossal android weighing a whopping 32000 kilograms / 70548 lbs.

Armed with diamond sharp steel, the Ninjas turn their bodies into raging cyclones – leaping, kicking, and slashing through wave after wave of enemies. Over a total of eight levels, you’ll take on the tyrant Banglar and his henchmen either alone or with a friend. So settle in for a night on the couch with your friends, and reminisce about the golden era of 90s co-op game evenings you know and love.

The original developers, TENGO PROJECT, have improved the audio-visuals in every respect, making an already outstanding game even better! Along with 2-player co-op play, TAITO’s latest arcade action masterpiece also offers fans new 16-bit pixel art graphics and animations, the revamped sound of TAITO’s legendary house band ZUNTATA, as well as an online ranking system so that you can compare your skills to fighters from all over the world.

Awakening – Learn skills at random, though the chances to do so are increased by engaging stronger enemies or using stronger weapons. Additionally, unlocking specific Talents allows one to “awaken” with greater odds.

Ignition – When a character enters this state (from dealing or taking damage), they can utilize their weapon’s Final Strike. Entering further states of Ignition opens up more advantages in battle.

Final Strike – A gambit that gives access to a powerful attack in exchange for breaking the currently equipped weapon.

CD PROJEKT RED announces that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch will launch digitally and in retail on October 15th, 2019.

In addition to the new trailer, the studio has also released a gameplay overview video, offering an extended look at the Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3. Playing the game are CD PROJEKT RED’s Community Manager Paweł Burza and Paweł Sasko, Senior Quest Designer on Wild Hunt and Lead Quest Designer on the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.

Gamers visiting this year’s gamescom, taking place from Tuesday, August 20th through Saturday, August 24th in Cologne, Germany, will be able to check out the title in person. The game will be playable at the Nintendo booth, located in Hall 9 of the entertainment area.

PHILADELPHIA – Aug. 19, 2019 – EarthNight, the hand-drawn action platformer set during the dragon apocalypse, leaps and dashes its way to Nintendo Switch in 2019, Nintendo revealed today as part of its Indie World presentation. Developer Cleaversoft also plans to release the title later this year for PlayStation 4 and Windows PC & Mac on Steam.

Dragons have taken over the Earth. Mankind now lives in exile, clinging to life in space colonies orbiting around the planet. Two heroes, the demon-possessed teen Sydney and sword-wielding Stanley, represent humanity’s last hope. Fighting to return to the place they once called home, the duo skydives through the monster-infested atmosphere to eliminate as many of the beasts as possible on the way back down to the planet below.

Racing along the serpentine dragons’ backs, Sydney and Stanley can harness their momentum to elude or dispatch the colorful swarms of enemies looking to trip them up along the way. Each character comes with distinct playstyles, offering sharp double jumps or lone gliding leaps and attacks, that can be manipulated precisely with minimalist but nuanced controls.

Those who master traversing these obstacle courses can vault higher into the sky, chaining jumps into the air where power-ups and other treasures await. At the end of a run, players will want to bring these collectibles back to the Appraiser, who exchanges them for persistent upgrades that can be used in the battles to come.

Even with new weapons and equipment, Sydney and Stanley need to remain on their toes. Each dragon is different from the last, fusing hand-crafted design with procedural elements to shape intricate encounters with near-infinite possibilities. Every moment is intense and layered with intricacy, inviting dragon slayers to come back for one more run in search of larger combo strings, higher scores, new items, secrets, warp zones, and more until they finally liberate Earth.

“EarthNight was inspired by many of the platformers we grew up with in the ‘80s and early ‘90s, so it’s a dream come true to be putting our game on a Nintendo system,” said Rich Siegel, founder, Cleaversoft. “We can’t to wait show off everything we’ve learned from the classics and how we’re pushing the genre forward when EarthNight launches later this year.”

EarthNight is driven by an original soundtrack composed by chiptune musician Paul “Chipocrite” Weinstein and pairs its tunes with surreal, painterly visuals from artist Paul “Mattahan” Davey, who meticulously illustrated the game’s more than 10,000 frames of animation by hand.
