Gothenburg, Sweden – December 5th, 2022 – Thunderful and Digital Kingdom are pleased to announce that Swordship is gliding onto PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC today, with Xbox following tomorrow morning. Its unique dodge ‘em up gameplay flips the switch on traditional arcade shooters, requiring you to use your enemies’ attacks against them, skillfully weaving around their fire to trick them into taking each other out. Select from a number of Swordship variants, each with its own unique active power, offering the opportunity to experiment with a variety of approaches to overcome challenging and dangerous levels. Players can further experiment with their play style by choosing between risking it all and banking stolen containers for massive score boosts, or playing it safe for passive upgrades and extra ships.

Swordship is set in an unforgiving post-apocalyptic world where the consequences of global warming have forced the vast majority of humanity to take refuge in three gigantic underwater cities. The megacities exchange millions of containers loaded with goods every day while those on the outside scrape what they can together in order to survive. You play as one of the small number of inhabitants prepared to steal those precious containers to deliver vital supplies to those that have been banished to the outside.

Stuttgart, Germany – December 2022 – Strictly Limited Games welcomes two new Shoot ‘em up titles in one ‘hot’ combo physical releases for the Nintendo Switch to their store. In collaboration with Hanaji Games, this is the only physical version of these two gems available.

Two Different Styled Shooters, One Great Collection

Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo is a vertically scrolling ‘score’ focused shooter set in an apocalyptic mechanised world. With seven different ships to choose from, each with different attack and movement properties, this frantic paced shooter delivers deep and satisfying combat. Exciting unlockables – 14 playable mechas, branching paths, multiple endings, and much more will be unveiled as you delve deeper into the game. Quickly clearing enemies and raising your rank is key to unlocking the final stage and is just one ongoing task to complete.

In Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo, not only does the score hunt and challenging gameplay provide plenty of replay value, but also the branching stage paths will influence the ending. Paired with the quirky story and popping graphics, you sure won’t get bored playing this one.

Dezatopia is a classic arcade styled horizontal shooter with a huge assortment of content, which offers both value and an amazing experience. 24 different stages with 21 bosses arranged in 21 routes, with intuitive and simple controls that will please both experienced and novice gamers. Unique enemies, bosses, weapons galore and interactive components are supplemented with great art and visual backdrops.

Strange and unusual creatures inhabited Earth’s underground. These unknown to humankind until Momoko, a fashion-obsessed high school girl, accidentally discovered them; but now she plans to create a new world: Dezatopia. Akane and Aoba, Momoko’s schoolmates, are hired to help achieve her directive but things don’t go to plan. The backdrop story could soon become a distant memory, as the all out colourful and non stop, over the top, but compelling, fire and hail explosive onscreen action ramps up!

The craft you control has four unique, intuitive weapons which can each be fired in one direction to halt the enemy onslaught. Upgrades and items can also be purchased from a mid-flight shop, but these advantages are countered by a dynamic difficulty system that automatically adjusts to match the player’s skill level to ensure their experience, strategy, technique and luck are always tested.

Both Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo and Dezatopia present great and amusing backdrop stories which set the scene for the action and challenges that gamers will encounter once they are ready to face the enemy forces, along with some awesome Bosses and cast that will materialise!

The SLG Dezatopia & Mecha Ritz Limited Editions will come in two versions, each featuring a cover artwork focusing on one of the games in the collection, named Momoko and Veloce Edition as well as reversible cover artwork featuring both. Hamburg, Germany, November 30, 2022 – The dark point-and-click-adventure Children of Silentown will release on January 11th, 2023. Developers Elf Games and Luna2 Studio have teamed up with publisher Daedalic Entertainment to deliver this haunting story about fear and separation to players on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

The story follows Lucy, a girl growing up in a village deep in a forest inhabited by monsters, as she slowly begins unraveling the mysteries that surround her. During the day, Lucy spends her time with her friends or helping her mother. But at night she is haunted by terrible nightmares, listening to the horrible growling coming from beyond the town limits. One thing is clear to her: the dark brings terrible danger and she must never step foot in the forest. But when tragedy strikes, she has no choice but to delve into the forest and face her fears.

Children of Silentown is a dark point-and-click adventure with a unique hand-drawn and eerie art style, combined with atmospheric music to create a hauntingly beautiful world. Players have to find notes, collect items and combine them to solve puzzles and play minigames to discover the secrets of Silentown and the forest. Additionally, learning songs is paramount to communicating with others and progressing in the game. This tool even allows players to shape Lucy’s story and experience multiple endings.

Interested players can already try out the prologue for free on Steam. The full game will be released on January 11th, 2023 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

29 NOVEMBER, 2022 – Monstrous city smash ’em up Terror of Hemasaurus will launch on PlayStation and Xbox early next month, and Nintendo Switch in January, publisher Digerati is happy to announce.

The skyscraper toppling, people-eating action arrives 7th December on PlayStation, 9th December on Xbox, and 12th January for Nintendo Switch. It’ll be priced $14.99 and be available with a 20% discount for a limited time.

Released last month on PC, Terror of Hemasaurus is already making a smash, racking up a 95% positive user rating on Steam, and with a current 85 Metacritic rating. The game’s developer, Loren Lemcke, is already hard at work on additional content, with a new kaiju – a scaly-skinned pangolin called Paingolin – a new mode, and some expanded gameplay mechanics planned for 2023.
