In addition to the Switch launch a new ‘GurrenLagann’ DLC will be arriving very soon.

The game features three major game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and, later this month after getting an update, fan favourite Survival mode will be available.

Campaign Mode puts you in control of Mercenary Tarethur O’Connell, an ACE pilot of Hardcore Defense Corp, who’s drawn into a rebellious sheme while on a mission. While facing endless battles and overwhelming conflicts, Tarethur starts to question what he is really fighting for. Players will be engrossed in a story of conspiracy and insurgency consisting of 8 chapters with 18 stages ranging from deep underwater, in outer space or confined in urban environments, all gorgeously realized with seamless animated cutscenes. At various points, Human pilots can exit their mechas, giving a greater ability to explore the environment and engage in further platform-based combat.

Later this month, after a major update, Survival Mode will come to the Nintendo Switch version. Survival mode pits players against over 50 types of enemy mechas of all shapes and sizes in a variety of locations such as mineshaft, underwater, urban, and space. It’s a perfect place to improve your skills as you upgrade your equipment between levels and missions to ensure you survive the barrage of enemies.

In Multiplayer mode, players select from a impressive roster of customizable mechas and engage in frenetic freestyle combo moves while competing in high-speed hardcore PVP battles. HARDCORE MECHA supports online multiplayer and local split-screen for up to four players. Local Wireless mode is available on the Nintendo Switch allowing players to challenge each other face to face.

Following the Nintendo Switch launch, a new DLC ‘GurrenLagann’ will become available for Multiplayer and Survival modes. This DLC comes from the famous animation ‘Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann’ and will include a new Mecha ‘GurrenLagann’, the symbol of the Great Red Lotus Group, and a new young pilot called ‘Simon Digging’.

“The team here at RocketPunch could not be more delighted to see HARDCORE MECHA release on Nintendo Switch today. It’s the ultimate 2D mech fighting experience and the Switch is the perfect platform to appreciate it.”

Vienna, Austria / Giebelstadt, Germany, October 8th, 2020: Fireworks instead of candles on a birthday cake. Nitroglycerin in a milk bottle, or just the good old whoopie cushion. Play dozens of outrageously weird pranks in Neighbours back From Hell.

Did you know that “Schadenfreude” is a German word defined as the concept of finding joy in someone else’s misfortune? It is also the main idea on which Neighbours back From Hell is built. A whole TV show based on playing increasingly outrageous pranks on your grumpy neighbor to keep the audience entertained, and viewership numbers high. It’s good to be bad in this early 2000s trash TV inspired slapstick extravaganza!

Neighbours back From Hell is available now on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for $ 14,99 / € 14,99 / £ 12,99.

About Neighbours back From Hell

As Woody, the vengeful star protagonist of Neighbours back From Hell, you will prank your way through Seasons 1 and 2 of the fictitious, but aptly named TV show. Take the mischief from your nasty neighbor’s flat all the way to China, India and Mexico where you will make sure his holiday is a living hell. While you’re at it, why limit targeting your antics at your neighbor, when you can involve his mother and fellow travelers? Whatever you decide to do, your trusty camera crew will be right there and keep a keen eye on all the action. You can let your crooked creativity flow freely and watch the neighbor rage in desperation. Just be mindful not to get caught by him or his companions, or they will whoop you good and your TV show will be taken off the air. If you perform well on the other hand, by creating more and more disarray and chaos in the neighbor’s life, ratings will increase, and you could win prestigious awards.

Features:

  • Neighbours From Hell 1 & 2 Remastered in one package: 25 episodes set in the neighbor’s home, on a cruise liner, and in several different holiday locations around the world
  • All graphics newly rendered in Full HD
  • Framerate of all animations doubled for a smoother experience
  • Use stealth, skill and style to perform the perfect ambush
  • Easy to use interface and controls
  • Superb cartoon-style graphics

Ray’s The Dead to Resurrect Nintendo Switch in 2021!

AUSTIN, TEXAS – October 8, 2020 – Ray’s The Dead, the dark comedy, action adventure shown during Sony’s E3 2013 press conference, will shuffle onto PlayStation 4 in North America and Steam on Thursday, Oct. 22. PlayStation 4 owners in Europe will join the zombie horde in the weeks following and PlayStation 5 users can enjoy Ray’s The Dead via backwards compatibility at launch. Ragtag Studio also invites Nintendo Switch fans to solve the mystery behind Ray’s passing in 2021.

Ray LaMorte is back from the dead and sporting a more ghoulish look in the afterlife, but he can’t exactly remember how he got there. Now a zombie summoning others back from the dead, Ray embarks on a surprisingly touching journey through his troubled childhood and young adult life, uncovering the mystery of his death.

Conjure hordes of zombies to do Ray’s bidding as he deftly navigates through a strangely nostalgic 80’s suburbia, creepy howling forests, and of course graveyards. Spooky settings will not be the only thing that feels familiar. Gameplay inspired by Pikmin will have Ray ordering the undead to shield him or charge in an all-out assault on frightening foes. Fight for Ray’s (after)life as things get weird in showdowns with a mystical old man, ridiculously tricked out monster truck, soviet tanks, and other 80’s inspired bosses.

Transform fallen enemies into new undead pals and carefully balance a team of ghouls that come in all flavors. Grunts, who sport special burrowing powers, are great for puzzle solving and reaching far places, while assassin types move fast with a deadly one-hit touch. Heavy zombies act as brutish bulldozers who pave the way forward by obliterating obstacles, and dog zombies stun Ray’s foes and activate objects.

Ray’s tumultuous, but heartwarming, adventure shines with playful, cartoonish designs and richly-detailed 2D character models navigating 3D environments. Whimsical settings and synthwave-inspired tunes from Jake Kaufman (Shovel Knight) and Dale North complete a charming adventure into a beloved genre with a modern flare.

“Yes, we did make yet another zombie game, but we’re offering way more than just ‘eating brains’,” said Shawn Halwes, technical director. “We’ve got a fantastical setting full of dark comedy, moral dilemmas, a story of redemption, the incredibly weird experience that was the 80’s, thoughtful puzzles, and extreme tactical zombie action. While eating some brains in the process, of course.”

Ray’s The Dead will be available on PlayStation 4 for North America and Steam for Windows PC for USD $19.99 on October 22 and Nintendo Switch in 2021. PlayStation 4 owners in Europe will experience Ray’s The Dead just a few weeks after its North American launch. It will support English language text.
